I would assume it’s something to do with the shortcut at the end - this frame and those wheels have the highest air speed in the game, and when combined with a heavier/faster character, who also has a higher air speed stat than Yoshi, you can probably get way more out of that last shortcut than you can save on the whole course by simply picking Yoshi etc. I could also be very wrong but that seems to make logical sense to me. Rosalina is in a weight class where you’re heavier, but not TOO heavy and don’t sacrifice as much mini turbo too.

@@Fruitman1997 Oh yeah that does make sense. I imagine that a bit of time is lost from less mini turbos on the road but it's immediately gained back at that shortcut. The combo is the 4th fastest in the air and using it with the lower cruiser weight (rosa, king boo, link, pauline) the extra air speed would def help.
