Too bad welding videos don't look actual; I mean you can't even see the actual puddle in videos because the arc blows out the rest of the scene

Its called a weave, its not as strong as 3 strings would be. Don't try to make your mig welds look like tig. This is misleading information and teaching people who never went to welding school the wrong way to make a strong weld.

If you want to spend 3 or 4 times longer welding a part than it should take, to make it look like something it is'nt then go ahead and charge 3 or 4 times as much as it should.

It's a Dumb Fad that is ruining welding as a trade. The Ole "I wish I could Tig" method.

Amigo, se voce fez o scanner de uma folha A4, é só dizer que a imagem tem 210x297 de tamanho, pronto não precisa medir nada e a peça fica no tamanho certo.

Wow omg.that is insane. I am a newbie jewellery maker. And i have always thought how useful it would be to be able to scan a 2d picture of a jewellery item ak a bangle. Then to be able to make it into a 3d render to print it. Omg. I am absolutely hot of the press new to 3d printing and wanting to learn. I am wanting needing to learn the very basics I have been on tinkercad and about to start fusion360 on my mac tomorrow. But is this true are you saying I can draw a picture of a bangle for example then simply scan it onto my mac with my scanner save rhe file as a png then insert that into fusion 360 and from there I can tinker with it and turn into what I like then save as a printable stl file and print it ? Omg omg where can I find clear instructions on how to do this? This has me very excited. Thank you

Doesn't matter how pretty you make the weld, its trash if there is no penetration. I seen more stack of dime welds fail while the bird shit welds been holding on forever.

You're trying too hard. Welding is all about comfort, simple stuff like just the weight of the Welding lead pulling down on your hand makes you shaky. Welding is 1 of the easiest things to do, working the grinder and cutting Torch is the only part that is actual work. It just takes practice.
