Since it is a short 2-1 it does have a slight dip below 3k rpm but it actually does very, very well compared to some other Shorty 2-1 pipes.

I just did LA Chopper 2-in pull back plate with 14 in factory 47 pull back t bars content with everything much better than they pangers arms are so much more closer to me night in day man because of videos like this that help me succeed I guess now it's just a matter of me putting the miles in

No dip !! Damn Was looking at the S&S diamond back mid length (I like how it looks and sounds and with dB reducer in won’t have a noticeable dip 2-3k.. motor is big enough to not be bothered by a mid length.. But damn.. I’m starting to eye this pipe. Performs ! Full SS pipe but with good heat shields (like the S&S pipe).. Not looking for chrome so this would fit the bill and 300 less Thanks for the vid

I would say the D&D Billet Cat is a bit louder and deeper toned.

Yours is much quieter than mine. I like that. My Sharkroads growl and has a louder thounder sound than the stocks. Awesome! Thanks again for your details.

Thank you for your details. It helped me install my Sharkroad 2-1. I put gasket sealant around the header opening and around where the exhaust meets the header. I noticed you don't use sealant.

I got the bike with 10k on the odometer so I'm not sure. But I gutted everything except where it narrows a little toward the end of the pipe for back pressure and oh that thing does sound good. No decel pop just roar.

Took apart a 05 XB12R and clutch pack missing #22 spring seat. Also why does manual say on installation 6.14 to install narrow fiber or B plate first, when other illustration shows spring seat goes in first followed by spring plate? Is this because diameter of narrow fiber plate is larger such that spring plate seat fits inside?

How do you feel about the shorty vs the full length. I want the sound of the shorty, but the gents at FM are telling me with the woods 22XD cam it’s better to run a full length.
