I loved The Waves by Virginia Woolf! It’s one of my favourite books. Yes, it’s a little bit harder read, but it captures every tiny little “wave” in her characters’s mind. I also think that it’s very similar of how our consciousness is working and somehow she managed to put it into words I liked it more than I liked Orlando because it is more close to my taste when the narrator is more blend in the story

I have never read Woolf but looking at how I myself journal and how you described her writing I have to check her out now. I’m a messy writer I go in and just write down anything that’s on my mind and then read it back only to realize it makes no sense.

"One video a week.. every two weeks on average.. maybe three-" Doesn't matter, don't sweat it. Do it when you're motivated and inspired. It's only good when it's good for you. It'd be great if all my favorite KZbin channels were prolific and financially successful but it's a damn grind so they're not, but they're still great and still my faves, sooo... 🤷🏾♂️

Thanks for trusting and being vulnerable. I hope the feedback in the thread shows you you're loved and appreciated. I'm sure you know you're not alone, but just saying, my ex-girlfriend suffers from pmdd, and i know it's a lot. And not to make this space about me because it isn't, but regarding support... I can happily report i learned a lot about partnership and support with my girlfriend, and it made a big difference for both of us. Not just in minimizing (best we could) PMDD's seemingly relentless destabilization and uncomfortableness for her, but in maximizing our friendship and peace of mind. She wasn't a burden for me, and it wasn't hard, it just felt like something we worked on together. We're still close and i see her all the time. I've learned it's not hard to love somebody when things are difficult.. I've had depression for a long time and when it really sunk in I lost about half of my friends and pined after them for a long time, And I didn't protest when it happened because I felt like I was an honest to goodness burden. Being with my girlfriend, through her depression AND physical pain AND dysmorphia had trip (one of nature's more sinister gaslights), I realized what the score really was with those people who took off. Just- please believe the friends who stick around and note the ones who don't. The ones who check out are an entirely inaccurate reflection of your worth. This is a truth. No matter how much you admired them otherwise, they're basically just kind of lazy and cowardly where it really counts. It's really that simple, sad but true. You won't be the last person they surprise with their duplicity (Yes, there are some rare instances where people can't take on more their lives on top of everything else for whatever reason, that's totally forgivable, but in this case, let's face it- being present for a friend with PMDD is not like having to provide hospice care or something) The friends who do stick around, believe THEM. They're the truth, No matter how seemingly hard they are to come by, or how few they may be in number. Let them love you and take part in your adventure however way they can. I hope you don't mind I went off there, stream of boring consciousness. And so wordy and unproofed 😬 I just had something to say and i hope it was encouraging somehow. Also, not for nothing- you're opening up makes us your viewers who are dealing with things of our own, feel a whole lot better too. But has been cathartic for you these months since this video 💜 Stay up, homie. We'll all of us do it together 🤜🏽💥🤛🏻 Also, thanks for the great taste in books. I've read a couple already based on your videos and you've been right on 👌🏾 Liked, subbed, and bell'd ✅ 💜🖖🏾 Ps. Glad to know you're human! 😁 (thought you probably were)

I remember you saying you enjoy when an authors writing is almost like a stream of consciousness, I recently read wild woman by Marina Šur Puhlovski and I would love to hear your thoughts on it. It’s translated from Croatian based in 1970s Croatia and is described as an ‘anti-love’ story :)
