I agree, Kallie, that most of us are figuring it out as we’re doing it here. Speaking extemporaneously is a TALENT and it’s valuable. By way of having a channel, I think we’re all striving to expand how we talk about our reading experiences. For Orlando, since it’s on my radar, I’m more intrigued after hearing you talk about it here!

very true! thank you for the validation, haha😅. but yes, orlando is amazing, would most definitely encourage checking it out!

I liked hearing you talk about how you often struggle to piece together your thoughts and explain your thoughts to an audience- I have struggled with the same thing myself. Though, I think it's primarily an internal thing, as you sounded very articulate and made sense to me, and people also tell me the same (much to my surprise.. my mind would tell me otherwise). I like how you mentioned that your channel is a way to help you develop speaking. I've often thought of uploading videos of myself talking about books, art, movies, and other things I love as a way to develop my speaking skills. Anyway, lovely video and great books.

I hear ya and have been loving your channel. I feel the same way. It’s also the worst feeling to listen to myself speak so I hate editing but there’s nothing better than listening to lovely peeps chat books!

I’ve read quite a few of the books that you’ve read this year and I’m so excited to watch more of your videos! The Wild Divine by Ada Limón is one of my favorite poems of all time, I love Clarice Lispector, and Orlando was one of my favorite books of the year too. You have great taste ☺️💖✨

i think as you continue to exist within this book space, you're better able to articulate your thoughts! how i speak about books is very different now compared to my very first video. and i'm still struggling 😭😭😭 but it's all in practice! all your thoughts make sense, though! and i enjoy hearing you speak about them. i hope to tackle Lorde in 2024! honestly love seeing another die-hard Lispector fan on the tube and i welcome it with much enthusiasm! can't wait to see where your 2024 reading journey takes you!

No actually for me u make all sense like I feel u review a book the way that I would've felt about it if I read it maybe mostly because we have the same taste but I just love your style , vibe and absolutely your content ❤
