B.s!, in the Real world you always say your Always communicate your at your cruising f.l. .......fyi

I love my Xbox X and it’s been fine but to go PC is a big investment lol. A PC that can run this smoothly and at the top performance is at least 900 bucks plus, usually 1,300 or so for a considerable PC. Also laptops are about the same.

Conversation is one thing but if they wanna go for ultimate realism…pilots and even controllers/pilots say “what’s up” to eachother all the time if they know who’s on the other end. If they wanna go for *ultimate* realism…someone needs to meow on guard every once in a while and everyone needs to get piiiissssssed about it. At that point VATSIM would be nearly indistinguishable from the real world.

For example, on a cross country, ATC will hand you off from one center to another or another controller on the same center. What are you going to do, just say, "NF346"? Its weird and unnatural.

My major complaint is, the vibration and feel of air current (GTA 5 mastered the feel of flying perfectly). It just isn't there in MS Flight Simulator and that is very annoying. I enjoy playing it, and the visuals are amazing. I just find it not as engaging due to this one flaw of that feel of air and speed. Maybe it's something I am missing - and please - please tell me if I need to adjust something and how to find it. But that is my one gripe.

The reason why i support marketplace is because I am tired of creating new accounts and installing new stupid installers for every little aiport I get. I dont want to have 10 installers, and 10 websites spamming my inbox, I want everything at one place. And I couldnt care less if MS or the developer gets my money, shits expensive anyway

Also people not thinking about what kind of plane they are taking for various routes. Because when 10 people decide to take new A380 from FBW to event in stuttgart, well EDDS is not really designed to handle 10 heavy aircrafts. So it causes delays, because of wake separation, lack of gates etc.

It doesn't really work through game pass. The previous game was downloadable and playable offline. This ensured the speed for the game. Just like a normal game. But now it is not downloadable. Only playable via online. I understand lot of people wants to play it at the same time, but their servers cannot provide for the players. The game stops quite often and I have to wait for 5-7 minutes at times for the game to load.I play on xbox series x. And I have very fast internet connection. I hope this gets better with time.

I’d say so far it doesn’t and hasn’t sucked at launch. Sucked is not even in the same dictionary as the correct word to describe msfs2024 launch. It’s catastrophic. Diabolical. Absolutely fucking horrendous. I think they’re the words best to use. At least I’ll never forget what the login queue screen looks like. I’ve been staring at it for over 9 hours.

It absolutely does, it takes a really long,long time to load and the standard version is suppose to have 70 aircraft, I got 18 and no helicopters. I'm glad I have X-plane...

PMDG have said that they believe their existing products WILL function correctly, but will be updated over time to take advantage of ADDITIONAL features available in 2024.

I’m excited for 2024, but not as much as I was for 2020 (which came out when I had no flight sim software at the time). Happy to take a “wait and see” approach while the first bugs get smoothed over

Here's a thought... Whether or not the launch is perfect or not, coming out with possible horror stories beforehand seems a bit pointless and even harmful to the launch. We all know it won't be perfect. We all know that the new engine will require developers to adjust their legacy products. So, why carp on this? Would you prefer a product that is so mired in the old tech that everything gone before works perfectly as before? So, basically no advance? C'mon, people. If you are risk averse, then don't get it. Stay with FS2020. It is fine. It is comforting. It is "settled law". I'm looking forward to the new one, with all it's flaws, and with all it's quirks. It is not the simulator that will suck at launch. It is the naysayers and the doom criers that suck at launch.

I'm getting MSFS 2024 and i will be keeping MSFS 2020 on my hard drive with all my aircraft add ons, I will then see how all my purchased aircraft pan out. I am not deleting anything that i have bought! Also i can switch between the 2 for a comparison check! 👍
