buying rockstar games on pc in general is just weird. when you link a steam/epic games account to rockstar it permanently links it. So if your rockstar launcher account gets compromised every time you try to launch the game it will you need to login to that account you no longer have and this is especially stupid when you realize YOU CAN'T PLAY A GAME YOU BOUGHT ON STEAM BECAUSE OF A ENTIRELY DIFFERENT GAME LAUNCHER

GTA 4 was broken on PC and PS3. This really was optimized for the Xbox 360.

I bought it on Steam and refunded it immediately as soon as I saw the Rockstar launcher. Mfs on Steam should tell people if games on their store will force you to use a different launcher lol

HI thanks for this mod. but I have some problems with version 1.5. Everything works great and suddenly the script makes calls looking for the vehicle and slows down everything. After passing the easy fare mission (when I can use the vehicle save) it calms down. But after a few missions the script aborts and the save game is corrupted. If you could help me that would be great, thank you.

I just refunded my GTA 4 complete edition because it was just so stuttery on just the main menu, not even in the game. I got fed of the bs that rockstar just released to the steam store.

All Rockstar does is ruin GTA on pc. They ruined the original GTA 3 Trilogy. Replaced it with garbage remasters. GTA 4's port is a joke. And Rockstar launcher is the most useless launcher out of them all.

dxvk completely stops my stutter, but my gpu usage goes up 50%. Hence after the fact I actually get less fps. But the stutter-free-ness is good!

I still have NO CLUE how tf this game went from smooth 60fps, to a complete mess when I opened it the second time. And guess what, I re-installed the bitch, dropped that fix that makes it run with Vulkan AGAIN, and boom, finally runs nicely. What even was the issue? I feel like installing mods will mess with it... Gonna try it after some hours into the story.

I installed all the bs for it to run smooth. Boom, got it, the fix worked, 60fps ultra, zero drops. I open the game the next day, a complete mess, GPU temps make no sense, they went from 55° to 75° and constant stuttering. I DON'T UNDERSTAND, fuck this shit.

Dxvk async fixes the game stutters are almost gone.

I literally bought this game on steam when it was on sale and then played it for two minutes and decided to request a refund afterwards lol. For some reason I remember downloading it before or playing it on my friend's computer but I didn't remember it being this bad.

I think i can give more ideas to the modder. If you see my comments section * Health regenerate system is cool, but make it similar like gta 5 when the health is regenerated to 50% instead of 25% * Increase mini-map size and when niko is driving or flying the map change to slanted perspective similar like gta 5 make it much easier to see the route * checkpoint system when failing the mission instead of respawn at the hospital and doing all the missions from the start, you can retry the game again using checkpoint mod I believe gta tlad and tbogt has this feature already idk * Friends hang out... the most annoying things when you meet a friend. The game will force you to bring them back home even if you hang with them at alongquin or Alderley... Most of your friends' houses are in broker with the help of mod you can simply drop them at nearby place etc restaurants, hotel or even a sidewalk * better reward after 100%. idk if the modder can fix this, but gta 4 has the worst reward, plus 9999 ammo is a bug. This is my take of what gta 4 100% reward is supposed to be - infinite ammo similar like gta sa - infinite stamina and swimming - special oufit - special car etc, fib buffalo or else park near a safehouse - vehicle deal double damage - niko health regenerate back to full instead of 25% when idle - every time players start or reload the game, niko will receive body armour - you can always use your friends' special ability That all lemme me if you like my 100% reward 😊
