You dont have to start a new game The cinema in Mean Street now has a interior and lets you have access to every projector level in the game and lets you know which one you are missing film reels in. You can also access the cinema from the main menu as well. The cinema also activates projectors that leads to alternative entrances like the one in Gremlin Village so you don't need to start a new game plus for those. To get the rewards from the usher for every film reel you do still need to start a new game plus to get the rewards especially if youre in the last part of the game and unable to return to mean Street normally.

Well- this is assuming that inflation happens the same in the wasteland as it does in the real world, which I doubt. It's possible it's still just 87 cents in the wasteland.

I am not against the concept made here. But a lot of the stuff you said is true. While epic Mickey 2 left off in a highly suggestive manner the core fun of the Disney franchise is the power of imagination and creativity, but who can forget about the love towards the characters? While the Pete’s where seen to possibly be attended to be enemies in the game I feel your concept on a personal level is kinda off since just because the characters may look boring, a lot of people still hold a lot of love towards gaming and creativity. For example new characters could be introduced since Disney has a lot of characters they can use for remakes of characters like the very possible beauty and the beast Pete or something other. All and All there could be something that also changes the mad doctor for the worst in the story. To be fair how many characters in the world give their enemies a chance to be good but turn down the chance for selfish reasons and self advancement? I mean if it was me a creative story could be the possibility that something is living in the void of wasteland or the ocean of thinner that comes out to fight with all of wasteland. Or the possibility that the mad doctor gets attacked by something that turns him evil again in the same since he did the same thing to Prescott. In epic Mickey 1 Prescott is not necessarily an evil toon but also seen to be kind sometimes. Though in recent time between then and the 2nd game he becomes WAY more egotistical and aggressive. Creating the boss we see in the second game. Though there are a lot of things that can make epic Mickey 2 Rebrushed or epic Mickey 3 possible I want to say the people should be free to create concepts of the game to help assist the creation of the game, while also not claiming ownership of anything made by the original game developers for copyright reasons. If you would like to know more about the idea I have I will make a KZbin video about this and the possibility of a 3rd game it would only contain 2 different short demos that could be possible for the game. The first demo would consist of entering venture land and finding a possible new dimension hidden away with puzzles and secrets. When you enter the portal you will have a large new world to explore with bookings and so on. Though chances are the 3 Pete’s use Prescott as a slaved worker to create their own world of chaos. For example, in some Disney movies resurrection is possible and could be revived to bring the blot back. Though again from the 2nd game the friendly ghost 👻 decides to try and make the blots kinder with the help of the mouse or the destruction he leaves. Either way what are the chances he succeeds in making a nice blot without needing the brush to brainwash them? Chances are he could be the only blot that can think without anger or irrational thoughts? If it was me there are many points in the story from the 2nd game to pick up from and yet there are still several quests that can be completed to assist in the 3rd game creation. Though another concept could be that maybe the blot is never defeated since it would appear his offspring is the blotlings? The possibilities are limited but considerable. And yes, you are right about Oswald having a dumb AI in the game but some people like a bugged game sometimes and also like doing a little more to do something. I feel like if Epic Mickey 3 ever does happen the Never was could be a great way to include characters who should've been in Wasteland but for some reason weren't (Fanny, Bootleg Pete ext.)
