Pairing these with the grimguard mutants goes really well as the grimgard mutants have the shields and the big mases, I still need to print and paint some myself as I have a entire army based around frostwatch krieg, and they have dropped a lot of sets of them since I did my army. I did some cool bullgryn but they didnt have these when I did them :)

There has been one sitting at the local store since it came out I’ve always eye balled it but finally I got an urge to start the raven guard army so I bought it yesterday. I’ve always really liked the box art. Maybe not the best way to start but I think it’s pretty neat and I’m looking forward to trying some new black armor recipes

Ordered these for my wife first but they got so delayed I just got the STC brush version of the GW essentials instead 😂. The texture paddle is great tho I personally use large drybrushes for certain minis with metallic base paints like alpha legion and iron warriors

1996 was the first time these models were made, and they have not been touched other than to make them plastic but otherwise exactly the same 😅 We Aeldari players have been dealing with being sidelined by GW for literally ever.... Other armies will get entire rehashes and updates, space Marines have and are still being completely redesigned from the ground up, even Orks have gotten larger re-works model wise, meanwhile GW gives us a new model here and there, a new avatar of khaine which admittedly is an amazing model, recently two re-made phoenix lords that made us pretty happy, but we are STILL waiting to be made relevant in lore again, and STILL waiting for a full army refresh. It sucks because Aeldari have been there since the beginning, but we get passed up for Orks, rip off t-800's cosplaying as space egyptians, hell even the Astra Militarum got a big refresh recently. 😢

Seeing this unironically made me more confident in maybe playing Drukhari because the runes are already on the blade and I don't have to free-hand them 😅

You did a good job armouring up your iron gut command figures. I found usually the standard bearer and musician don’t look heavy enough to match the rest of the unit but you managed to avoid that with the good use of helmets and shoulder pads 👍

How do you move your soldier so fast. No matter how I swipe i can't get the soldier to move right the way across in a single shot like you do between 0:01 and 0:02 secs

This level is complete bullshit. No matter what you do, the zombies are just too fast and too thick in the middle. Even if you get past the first wave, there isn't enough firepower for the rest.

I'm following exactly and the zombies just stay in the middle and they seem way faster than yours wth

I looked at your other videos, but I didn't see these guys again ... did you paint any of them yet? They look cool. I am curious how they look in colour.

They made the bases bigger so you could effectively 'rank up' better, but then they made the models larger and more obtuse to destroy that point completely. I'm glad I switched to 3d printing as I can just scale down the Gallia Knights of Highland Minis to still fit in their old 20mm bases.

I only ever use Citadel's liquid green stuff on bases that still have slotta style slots, a good starter for rocky/sandy terrain. Vallejo's Plastic Putty would be the better stuff for filling gaps on figures and models as is Squadron Green Putty as well.

Dude, the 3d prints look waaaaaaay cooler than the new GW kit. Holy shit. Its giving me an impulse to get into Old World now!!! The more realistic proportions make them look much more menacing! I've just come from your "The Worst Warhammer Kit I’ve Ever Built" and these guys are 'knight and day' better! ;)

The orrus spyrer assembly is abysmal. Gw really f'ed the assembly part of alot of the newer kits

The whole Warhammer The Old World range is basically an effort in low effort. A nostalgia cash grab

I would understand the price if these figures was sculpted by hand by modellers putting in the effort in some factory at GW. But no, they are done in a computer and placed on the sprue to minimize material and splized in a way so they are not possable. So they are definetly not worth +80 bucks.

i know you warhammer purist will never accept this, but there are plastic kits out there that are better, cheaper and easier to build than GW. If you want some reccomendations for foot knights, check out either wargames atlantic, fireforge or northstar miniatures.

The sculpts are ugly as well. Those helmets look goofy. I would not give GW my money these days. I miss the 90's

Foot knights was a thing before ToW in WAP so I had an unit of them using 3d printer. Tbh they were the only unit that I'm considering buying from the ToW releases as they looked really interesting to paint.

How is it the worst if it's just as bad as any modern GW kit
