My f150 is having trouble holding it's miles per gallon I don't no if it's a computer problem or a reset problem I can reset. It can have 80 miles left in it then if I travel a mile it drops to 79 then I can go another mile and it will drop another mile. That fast what can I do or what's the problem anybody no

For peace of mind it’s recommended to do rock arms, lash adjusters, timing kit and high volume oil pump when doing cams along with a tune from a reputable tuner like Lito

@@moneymovestso when you can add a cam and make it chop like this one a stock motor? without having to do a bunch of other motor work? i mean i’d prolly do exhaust and cai and other small stuff but do you have to do any other motor work to get a cam other then a tune

Doing a swap like this using stock ignition is the way to go. Otherwise you have to use 4R70W transmission controller which is expensive and more wiring involved.

@@itsoundzgood These are the same design as the Sport Trac gauges, except they’re silver. They were in 2003 Ranger XLT’s only. They could’ve been in a Sport Trac if somebody put them in it though, since they are interchangeable.

The mileage doesn’t surprise me whatsoever, the 2.3 & 2.5’s in these trucks run forever, it’s also pretty uncommon to see a tachometer on a 4 cylinder model, somebody must’ve optioned out for it. The inside of my doors on my ‘99 were filthy too, especially the passenger side which had a bunch of dirt & moss build up. It was so grimy & gross.

I bought a Dodge Ram 1500 for $500 bucks. Turns out the original owner did over $2,000 dollars in exhaust work. The original owner got ahold of me and wants to come see the condition of the truck. It’s got the 5.2 Magnum in it and it’s pushing 218k miles runs like a dream still. Might look like a beater but god she literally has no issues under the hood.

this truck isn't stock. they shift at 4800 stock. it definitely won't go into 5k without shifting. i know this because i tune them and the stock tune shifts at 4800 wot
