I disagree, Boyd is definitely the main character. Hes front and center on all the From posters. Tabitha wasn’t that relevant until the end of season 2. I think you think Tabitha is the main character because she’s the only one with a proven deep connection to Fromville due to reincarnation. However, we don’t know how Boyd is connected yet, and he could also be significantly connected and reincarnated as well. If anyone is going to save everyone, it’s gonna be boyd

I have a similar theory about the civil war! A lot of things don't make sense without it - the fact that everyone is from the continental US (Civil War was pre-Alaska & Hawaii, after westward expansion); the fact that slow walkers, BIW, ankhouey kids are only white; the fact that they named the main Black character (who the white monsters especially want to "break") something that sounds way too much like "boy." (OK, am I the only one who flinches every time a white character calls him "Boyd" too forcefully? 😅) I just don't understand the kimono lady.

The civil war connection is one I think is vital. I think Jade visions are the most important key to deciphering the nature of this paradox. The slow walkers are former towns people that have been enslaved, like marionettes. They are unable to die and have to do what the evil entity compels them to do. Martin said the town was only the tip of the spear. And begged Boyd to kill him. I think he wasn’t able to die because the evil entities influence. Also if the three roots are that of a world tree, then the visions would mean… that this place will open to the real world and the real world in there reality would become like the town. The evil entity would enslave some people to toy with others. In episode 9 of season 3 Jade has a vision of Christopher when focusing on the bottle tree clue. The intelligence sending the visions was upset that Jade was focusing on the tree when the visions need to be solved. The towns people won’t be able to flee if Jade solves the visions. Meaning he won’t need to work on the bottle tree question yet. See if this is a contest played between entities, to decide weather the evil entity gets to enslave humanity. Then the current victims are not victims but humanities team.

Wondering why on fan wiki they explain that Boyd states in season 1 that first person he saw killed was friend in military named Corporal Brian Kelley. And in 2nd season two of of the new arrivals that are killed are named BRIAN and KELLEY. So if they’re all dreaming in some way, are some people not real n his mind NAMED two random people killed Brian n Kelley? Also Martin in convo with Boyd says there are “nightmares” in the forest so the use of word “nightmares” is used way too much, also names of monster people are named “nightmare creatures” so definitely leads back to sleeping in some way. Same with music being big part. Boyd listening to music when they come to tree. Elgin listening to music when he awakens, and it’s same song Boyd hears just prior. Wondering if in some way music may be a catalyst to enter world or sleep, sort of like ticking clock or snap of fingers to go into trance. Just random thoughts I’m pondering n trying to figure out connection.
