My theory: when Victor was a kid they had talismans, he just doesn't remember. They've hinted that Christopher is the reason everyone died. I think he stole all the talismans and hid them in that tree Boyd later finds them in. I think the town people put Christopher in that cellar to make him give up where he hid them and that's why Victor and his Mom were there. I also think that's why his Mom was so urgent to help those kids and get home, because they weren't protected at night anymore. I also think maybe the new cop will do something stupid with the talismans and it will spark a memory with Victor.

I agree with the comment that said people are expecting too much from this series. Like something dramatic or frightening is going to happen every episode, it should get wrapped up already. Uhm excuse me? What am I gonna watch when it’s done? I love the slow pacing because it means more, people just need to learn patience. This generation lacks patience sm. Get rich quick schemes, surgically enhance your muscles because actually working on them would take too much time. Like damn! Relax and just enjoy the show and all the little puzzles and mysteries..🧡

People don’t realize what drug addiction does to you mentally. Mariel is calm because she has been struggling with inner demons for YEARS! This is a new situation but not a new feeling. She’s just very used to having to be in control of herself all the time or she relapses. As an addict in recovery myself. I get it

I hope all the Tillie haters are happy! I've been defending her since she came in dancing in the rain, I just really liked her for some reason. There's a few things I noticed; the sailboat on Acosta's jacket looks like the same painting in the Matthew's living room, I've noticed drawings of boats too. When Elgin opened the wardrobe thing in the root cellar it looked like there was water dripping from the back (wet Kimono Lady). I couldn't tell if the body he found was missing an eye, it kinda looked like it. One of the pill bottles Ellis took was Paliperidone, which is prescribed for schizo effective disorder. As for what Tabitha dreamed that was making the other people scream, I'm not completely on board with this but so many people are saying giant spiders. That's all I got this episode, great video!

This episode looks like a long introduction to something really important (or so I hope). Things are getting slower and calmer before the storm. As for the body - what if a person in that cellar was somebody turning into a monster (like Fatima now) and so the people locked him there for their own safety. Maybe now the town folks will have to do the same thing with her... All the monsters could have just been people lost in Fromville in the distant past and at some different points in time they changed. Is there some fixed number of people and monsters living in Fromville?

Okay so I think I've come to a conclusion... I was watching LOST and something had occurred to me... I remember having all of these theories.. season 1 I thought it was dinosaurs lol ... The writers always threw something at the viewers to distract us from what was really going on..and I feel like that's happening here... Guys, there's a big picture and I think it's more so in the dialogue than in the symbols, not that the symbols don't matter... they're just not the big picture. that being said..this is a lot of fun! My husband was curious about what I've been listening to, I told him about the show and how I've been watching you and a few other KZbinrs because I'm too scared to watch the actual show, he laughed and well... long story short we now have a paramount+ subscription so we can watch it together... Sorta, I'm gonna have to keep my eyes closed and just listen lol😅

The town is in a parallel world. The monsters are like Huldufólk or Fae/fairies and the stones that keep them safe have Viking bindrune written on them. One symbol is specifically for protection. They're in the realm of magic. That's why nothing makes sense to them.

Jade is behind it all. He designed from land. It’s been in front of us the whole time. He’s a software engineer there for creating how things work inside of something. He strives for information and doesn’t accept things for what they are. They made him as thirsty as Oden for power knowledge and control. Jade seen the dude drinking blood from a child head. Jade seen Jasper an item made to make kids laugh and comfortable. The kids are saying anghkooey “he used us” warning Tabitha Jade used the kids as a sacrifice for knowledge. Here's the things that excites me about this show. Monsters:kill everyone except the MC. Trees:Sometimes good, sometimes BAD. People sees ghosts and visions: Them:Yow this is legit. Other people tell them they also had visions: Them: You're crazy that's not possible! Listening❌ Arguing✅ Some useless deadbeat son knocked up a girl as expected. Also complains about doing something but never helped on anything and had to be saved twice by his gf while wearing ripped jeans in the middle of a fckin winter. Anyone who's not panicking is always evil or a monster spy until they're dead then they become innocent. (According to theories) A husband trying to "save" his family by being emotional, hysterical and opposing is always helpful. The one that surviving the place since he was a kid was labelled "weird" and ignored. Burned a dead monsters body and seem to work. Them: Let's not make molotovs or try to burn them and see if the monsters die. Someone trying to be helpful: Being pushed away or stabbed "accidentally" Lastly, Gatekeeping every info as much as possible.

Like maybe Boyd stopped the transformation or whatever but the reason they’re still connected is because something is still embedded in them idk imma be sick if there’s like 3 of them partially made. There was Julie Randall and M in the ruins separate from where they were outside the ruins. Idk I’m just confused what happened to the other 3 bodies that were in the nightmare world or torch world?💀

@ i respect you limiting what you say. If you respond as someone who doesn’t know the upcoming episodes. Off the top of my head we only have two bodies unaccounted for? Christopher and Eloise? (Maybe technically martins real body). I feel like they could either be the same or know each other. Christopher Martin just sounds like a name but he can be separate atp. the show just said Victor never found Christopher’s body. Idk if Elgin is in the place Victor was that raises questions on that as well. Imma go rewatch a couple episodes surrounding this and get back to you. By the way Elgin never seen say cheese n die?? Like damn goosebumps seems valuable here lmao

Ethan walking out the cellar to the boy in white. Could line up to Christopher and martins story. It just confuses me how he got back there. If that’s how Christopher ended then the cicadas would have had to kill everyone in the town? But when Victor walks out you can see he went through something not like how he came. Some of the dead in the road were split in half. Haven’t seen the monsters do that. Nor the cicadas. It was almost like the bodies were left there as bird food. Idk that’s my current rant in trying to discover this before they show it to me or I’m spoiled
