23:20 [in reference to Andrew saying Kevin Conroy having to use his normal voice in Arkham Asylum] I don’t think that’s correct. I played Arkham Asylum recently and I didn’t notice him talking with his real voice during the game.

2:36 Blockbuster was an ex scientist turned monster so its possible he knew Max before he tested his stariods on himself. 2:58 I asked someone online what the words on Ubu's face were and they the translate to "Hand of the Devil" or "Devil Hand" which makes sense as Ubu is the left hand to Ra's. Ra's al Ghul's title as "Kashif" is arabic which means "Revealer", "Pioneer", "Discoverer" along with it also being used to discribe someone like a district chief or be used as a name for God if what I read was right. Which might explain why Ubu looked like he was praying over Ra's.

Mentioned this is another one of your videos... I believe at one time there was with the abduction and circus train scene. There was a still out there, the main backdrop is the train itself, around the train there's a few Triangle Gang members strewn about unconscious - thought the sword swallower was one of the unlucky ones. I just never cared for the truncated version we got...

Would be cool to get Nightwing in a serious Batman movie at some point, maybe don't even do too much exposition with it, could reference how he used to be Robin in the past. Him and Batman could cross paths during the story, could come through the dialogue, a bit of their history, but just focus on the plot, and trust Batman enthusiasts will know about him, new viewers will be intrigued and look into the character. They could be going after the same villain, cross paths when they're tracking him down, like halfway through the movie, then team up to get the villain, a formidable opponent, like The Joker, they could talk about Jason Todd's murder by Joker, could be some great dramatic scenes involving this, talking about death of second Robin, see Grayson reminiscing on his time as Robin. I still like the moment in Batman vs Superman, where Affleck looks at the Robin costume in the Batcave, then walks off, was a nice touch.

Patrick Stewart would have been a great Mr. Freeze indeed. Arnold is a good actor, but was miscast as Mr. Freeze. And indeed the animated series got Mr. Freeze right, pretty much got all of the characters right, however if the script and style hadn't been so silly, Schwarzenegger might have been all right, not all on him.

Bruce in the conics would never have called Dick Grayson by his first name with a jesting/negative connotation, but in this film we have Clooney saying something like, "what I'm saying is ... 'Dick' ... is that..." Bruce and Dick might have had light conversations in the Batcave or in the mansion, but Bruce would never say Dick's name in a low blow way, was an out of place delivery for an attempt at a cheap laugh in the film. Other than that, Bane shouldn't have even been in this movie, and they destroyed the character. Uma Thurman made a good Poison Ivy, her look, but lot of the problem is they're playing up to Schumacher's decision to make his two Batman films more campy. Mr. Freeze had too many one-liners. The Schumacher Batman films are just too cheesy, too flashy in the wrong way.

So do you think this guy on the medical bed going to be this version of Ra’s al ghoul? Interesting Blockbuster here as you wonder that villains like Killer Croc should have been in Batman Returns, Solomon Grundy and the Gentleman ghost as they are supernatural villains that fought Batman a few times? I wonder what the Riddler costume would look like especially that there is a Riddler in the novel Batman Resurrection and I wonder would Clayface be like the Caped Crusader version as well if he was in the Nolanverse?

You know I didn’t feel like he was the main character as he didn’t learn another especially he was okay killing bad guys and then he just stops for no reason and especially that there wasn’t really a plot in Batman Returns as it was all over the place like Max Scherk was more the Main Antagonist than Penguin ever was.

Tim Burton never was a fan of Batman as a character and it shows, he was just a device to push the plot forward and highlight the villains.

Shame that was left out. It seems like Batman/Bruce doesn’t really have an arc in the film but is just a presence to act as a threat to Penguin and Catwoman

If only Tim Burton hadn’t sidelined Batman in his own film because as it stands, the Villains of the movie felt more like the main focus.

I find it rather ironic karma that Jeremiah believed he was more saner and clearer of conscience than his ancestors when taking control of the Asylum. Man was a poorer choice than any person to take up running the facility, poor in mind and poor in sanity.

Yeah, and George Clooney's Batman does have a speech to Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mr. Freeze in Batman & Robin about anyone can take a life, and asked him to save Alfred, to show him how to cure McGregor's Syndrome Stage One.

I agree with Michael Keaton. When he's wearing the costume Batman shouldn't be philosophising and giving speeches. He shouldn't be spelling out what he thinks or what he plans to do. This is what I hated about the Nolan movies. It looks really stupid in a live action movie.

Word is that another reason why Tim Burton was recasted as Director of Batman 3 (Batman Forever) because parents had a negative reception of Tim Burtons universe they felt it was too dark and violent for their children. So of course the studio wanted to sell toys and advertise it to children so allegedly that’s why they dropped Tim in turn of Joel Schumacher. And they say Marlon Wayans was officially singed to play Robin in Batman Forever before they dropped Tim Burton as director and allegedly he still got paid for the role because he already contractually signed on to play Robin before Joel Schumacher took over.

With Tim Burton's Batman films, he was never really concerned with continuity or overarching stories. I remember hearing him say that he doesn't like to return for sequels unless he's free to reinvent things, and even if I'm remembering incorrectly, it checks out because Batman and Batman Returns sometimes feel like they're set on entirely different planes of existence. So I think it's hard to capture what his next Batman films would've looked like, because his philosophy was so esoteric and unconventional.
