Great video, I'm a bit behind your achievements but I'm going in same way forward, not knowing exactly what I'm doing 😂. That's why this story is inspiring me. Congratulations on your achievements without clear idea and bussines plan.

I have casement windows and that won't work for me. I plan on making or using one of the window screen frames and installing a clear segment in place... instead of the screen. Also, I have a local metal supplier that also supplies surplus plastic. Both the metal and plastic are priced per pound rather than the new cost. The acrylic is 3.25 lb so a 2'x4'x1/4" sheet is $40. if you have a like supplier maybe worth checking.

Thanks for sharing, I'm just starting to make 3D POD - can you suggest a supplier of quality 3D products at good prices?

2 years ago, I switched from a Creality CR10S Pro to the Bambu X1C. With the Creality, for every 10 hours of printing, 2-3 hours of fixing or calibrating. Getting the X1C was like going from a 2000's era-cellphone to the newest iPhone. The printer just works, and the parts are cheap. I just bought a new complete hotend for $35. and I NEVER have to screw with it or play with gcode.

It doesn't matter if your product sucks or not. They are using your hard work to train AIs that they will use to make money from AI users and eliminate you entirely. Anybody will be able to leverage your hard work to produce whatever they want - not specifically your widget, but the really valuable part, your skills, style, techniques and expertise.

Has anyone pointed out your only as good as your weakest link, so if your smallest inlet or out is 4" at those points you have a bottle neck and flow is reduces so you wouldn't want to go from 6" to 4" if you can help it, but if right away you go from 2" to 4" to 6" and only increase and never step back down then flow can only keep increasing.

That looks very nice! Looks very, almost identical to a cnc4newbie. I believe they even have the same packages if not more. I don't have one that big but I did get 5% off for being a vet (even though they are canadian) and free shipping. I don't know how they do it but it cost nothing to ship to Georgia. However, if I can ever find the success you have I will definitely keep this company in mind. Oh yeah, the cnc4newbie's are not belt driven. To get one like you have it's all Ball screw. However, I love that rack and pinion. I like the sound. It sounds like a jet.

I just found your page today. I super appreciate you being so candid and real about your journey with your business. I just ordered my first 3D printer today and your channel has provided me a lot of motivation and consideration for things I hadn't thought of. Please keep up the good work! Thanks again.

We just bought the glow forge. We are setting up in an inside room that back wall is shared with the back wall of the garage. Our plan was to just vent into the garage but I’m think we still need to do the inline filter. So trying to decide if we can run the vent up the wall and across the ceiling or if we should run across the back wall to a window on the side wall (front of the house). It would be about 15-20 ft.

The main issue is not theft of our (likely worthless) gcode. The issue is more about two main security issues: 1)can a malicious actor use your 3d printer to gain access to your local network and to do damage? 2) more importantly, your 3d printer has a potentially dangerous hot end. This reddit post alleges that someone could access your printer (or Bambu's cloud could start a print) while you sleep, potentially risking burning down your house with a 300C hotend that doesn't shut off. Bambu Cloud already started prints automatically against the intent of users. Something to think about. You might consider disconnecting your Bambu Lab printer and use a sdcard ONLY to transfer your gcode.

"I'm just chasing my passion. I just wanna leave my death cubical that I hate" - That is exactly where I am at in my life, dude. The death cubicle that I hate. I have been doing finance for a leasing company for the past 3 years. I was THIS close to quitting with no plan recently. I thought about it for a bit and decided to ask about part time. My supervisor agreed to letting me go part time and hired an administrative assistant to handle the more monotonous tasks associated with my position. I now work 930-130 in my death cubicle and do 1:30-5:30 in my own office where I am trying to create my own 3D printing business. I am so determined to make it happen even more after watching this.

Thank you for your video. I'm an architect, model railroader, diy'er and I always build a sketchup model first of anything I'm planning to build. I bought a Creality 6 about 3 years ago and did some useful stuff with it, but I couldn't keep any commitments to mass produce anything because it was just too finicky to keep the settings dialed in and tweaked. ETC. I just bought a pair of Bambu Labs P1S's and they run so good... My OA is about 98%. Week's pass between issues. Anyway, I'm gearing up for a novelty to sell at Christmas time... but after that, I think I'll advertise custom architectural models. And maybe some widgets. The first success story I heard about a 3d printing business was from a fellow who was selling mailbox flags. Again, thank you for your candid review of your business beginnings.
