Personally, the sound design in Cold War takes the cake here. This sounds even more plastic than it did in MWIII.

Ugh, at least some of the guns don't sound as grating and plasticy as MW3's. Most of the stanag guns can use some work. 😭

Some of the reload sounds are off from the animations, namely the pistols. The animation shows you pressing the slide release, but the sound suggests the slide being racked instead.

Don't buy call of duty 6. At this point call of duty is the most rigged game of all time. Skill based damage, amplified skill based matchmaking, and other hidden features of EOMM. IT MAKES ZERO SENSE THAT A GAME SHOULD BE RIGGED AND THAT I'M BEING HELD BACK BY HIDDEN CODES WITHIN THE GAME. These are not exaggerations or making excuses. Call of duty peaked with mw19 and cold war after that it's not the same. It won't ever be the same with those avarice driven developers that don't give a care in the world about the community or the integrity of the game.

Well BF 2042 still win on muzzle sound/s. Delta Force AK 12 is totally crap of a gun, PKM and AKS 74 where good in handling though.

It’s only sad they never fixed the game, what do I mean by this well, in about 2022, 2023 there was a bug that made it literally impossible to edit load outs in multiplayer and to this day you cannot edit your load out it’s a known issue and they haven’t don’t jack shit about it

AKS-74 & AKM reload animation are wrong, AK should be pull the charging handle after changing mags or chambering a round. That animation belongs to AR platform weapon

Thumb-flicking the drum mag on the ak is funny to me, idk why

I believe the df does the quality of the gunshots, reloads way better than 2042 and 2042 doesn’t have check gun animations, but the Ak-12 fire rate for df is little too fast while while 2042 is pretty good rate of fire, and the mistakes of 2042 is lack of customization, ex: can’t take the GL off the scar and put on other underbarrel attachments, lack of other attachments for most of the guns and optics, and the cardinal sin of 2042 is also not having the M4 carbine, AKM, MP5,MP7, and many other guns that is semi modern-futuristic setting

Hand models animations go to call of duty (at least the ones done by IW) but weapon models and firing feel goes to Delta force cause of how similar it is to MW2019, weapon sounds and audio is more of a toss up cause both game have bad and great audio

It's about time they stopped using MW's animations. These one's are a lot more unique and stylish.

Man I wish the way they were separated for each of the classes made sense, feels randomly picked out a hat for some of the characters. Like yes you can have the ar category but only four of them, or the fact that half of them only have access to the M14 as a marksman rifle even though there’s 3-4 of that category in the game.
