Hi, yes! It is possible to do it in one day from Lima, there are many different routes. It is a long day though, but worth it. To give you an idea, the tour we run departs at 6AM from Lima, includes a breakfast stop, Paracas and the Ballestas Islands boat ride to see the wildlife, lunch at a winery with a tour and tasting, and dune buggies with sandboarding at sunset in the desert at Huacachina. We get back to Lima between 9:30 and 10PM. Long, but adventure-packed and leisurely paced. Hope that helps!

Awesome! From 9am-12pm is generally your best window in December. If you go earlier, you can run into the morning mist and it rains many afternoons. Buen viaje!

The beaches in Peru, are good, just depends on the specific ones. Agua Dulce, is in Chorrillos. La Herradura, is there too, and are pretty popular with the locals. There is an area a little distance from Lima called Asia, which is a popular spot in the summer. The beach in Miraflores, like La Punta, in El Callao, are not sandy, it has mostly stones, and are good for surfing. Mancora, in Piura, and the beaches in Tumbes, are like you describe them, very nice.

Great info for beach goers in less than 6 mins. Definitely agree the best beaches in Peru are in Piura and Tumbes besides being warmer than the rest of the coast of Peru.

1:28 absolutely wrong. Those archeological sites are Ychma culture, not related at all to the Inca's culture Pleasebe aware of information you show up

Appreciate you reaching out but it seems you misheard as Lucas says the site at the Huaca Pucllana are PRE-Incan ruins. They are actually not attributed to the Ychmas but to the Lima civilization, which predates it by 400 years.

Hi any leads on good food tours in Arequipa and or Cusco. We will be there in the next couple weeks and want to do it justice. As a culinary anthropologist, I am so looking forward to this food culture. We are so excited to be in Peru next month and film it for our channel. Machu Picchu is #1 on my bucket list. We are a father and son who travel the World to plant trees, clean beaches and teach people about culture, history, and natural wonders. Hey guys, what a cool channel you have. Love the way you travel and share from a place that’s truly connected with the destination. For Cusco either Curious Monkey food tours or a cooking class at Marcelo Batata will give you great insight into Peru’s culinary history. You may end up covering some of the same in Arequipa so I would suggest wandering, talking to the locals and compiling a list of must-try dishes that you incorporate into your meals. Arequipa has some of the best food around, make sure you try: rocoto relleno, adobo, ocopa, chupe de camarones, and queso helado for starters. Have a wonderful stay in Peru! - Sam
