Akai needs to stop. I understand it's about business, but in 2024 processing power, and ram should not be an issue. Constantly introducing machines with a slight bump up and processing power. Also Ram. Smdh. I don't care about new machines. I would much rather have a stronger system. We would pay for it in the 1990s we paid $4000 for a MPC 4000. I'm not saying they should charge that much. All I'm saying is that they can't use the price as an excuse. The new stems feature sounds horrible on the standalone because of the processing power come on now.

@@steviehustlingnetwork3129 spot on. I appreciate you voicing out your thoughts. I’m sure they’ve pushed as much as they could with the processing power they have on their current machines. I’m sure this is also hitting them with the feedback. People have been voicing lately and preparing for a much better standalone hardware machine down the road. Thank you brother. This is valuable input. 🙏

Hey quick tip for more insert space for effects, you can go on setting, general, and under main output it should say vintage mode set to none. You can turn your mpc into mpc 3000, mpc 60, sp1200, sp1200 ring mode just so u don't have to use insert space.

this really sounds bad, I'm trying to find an answer to the question why akai released steems for samplers, it doesn't make sense. There are a lot of ideas for some cool new effects etc. for mpc, but it's definitely not steems separation. It seems to me that these are also difficult times for influencers because they realize that it's crap and they have to put on a good face for a bad game. Some other guy from YT wrote that: what did you expect... but I'm asking who wanted sreemsy anyway...? akai simply responded to a potential sales demand, it means - they wanted to make money on something and came up with this idea, it's a pity that they released such a thing... it makes no sense

I wonder how much difference there is in regards to selling beats on Beatstars using samples from Tracklib? Have you tried this out yet, Malo? Respect.

Hi Malo, Your videos are fantastic and I follow them a lot. I updated my mpc one's firmware to use Stems in standalone, but after completing the procedure I turned it off and everything was ok. I turned mpc one back on and it worked, but after the second restart the mpc remained stuck on the home screen. Unfortunately every Once I restart the problem remains. Do you have help for me? Thank you so much

I read people complain about the soundquality on the standalone version, whats your take?

This machine is crazy. After yrs of purchasing other producers beats, I'm finally ready to jump back into my own creative box. That MPC One+ / SP404 combo looks to be the way but I could also just grab Logic X and call it a day. I use an MPK 25 as a controller right now (still not making beats as of yet, I just use it to trigger movie samples) but the ABOVE combo seems like it would 'inspire' a more hands on feel. Will debate over the next month but thx for your videos. You definitely show the potential power it could induce. Blessings

Idk jack shit about volume settings. I see that you got the master volume cranked up all the way on the mpc and my dumbass was wondering is that the way it should be when connected to studio monitors? I'm still sorta new to this stuff.

Yo !! Hahah bro I really appreciate you mentioning this and LVL settings is a whole different topic which is a bit more crucial when you get into mixing but since we’re just producing these videos, I don’t really keep an eye on my meters as much but I’ll do a video on this topic

STEMS on stand alone is terrible and even better separation on software is worst than on Ableton or Logic Pro. I’ve been waiting for it since Akai announced but realised with this low quality audio it’s pointless.
@malobeats4 күн бұрын
Hey man, I’m so glad you took the time to mention this and I’ve been hearing a lot of mixed reviews on this topic. I definitely want to do a follow-up video and touch up on this since I also noticed a significant difference between the standalone versus a software separation.

Be interested to know why used the Live 2 for this over your K37 and One plus? I’m hoping to buy one of the above but on the fence. I saw your other video and it’s great. I must say I’m leaning towards the live 2 at moment for usability in limited space and environments.

I have a feeling the source of the sample is key. I did a test run with an Al Green vinyl. Original print. And the drums came out pretty decent. Threw the Air Soft Clipper and they sound damn good. I have a feeling that digital sampling is having issues.
@Reggi_Sample4 күн бұрын
Good work brother. I noticed you had to lean into drum processing a lot more than your usual sampling methods. It's the thing about stems... Fire chops as always

Downloaded it and started sampling UK drum n bass admittedly from my phone but there are alot of dirty artifacts and it's not as good as I was hoping , will it get better , is it going to get better/ updated or is it as good as it gets , I have had some luck but not lots. Should I use better audio ? Thanks Malo for your awesome vids again , new mic sounds great 👍
