Even if RoS isn't fully an arena fighter, I think it could be a huge influencial W for the arena fighter genre that it desperately needs after Cursed Clash. It's really a hybrid between the Soul Caliber type of game and an arena fighter, but if this game does well and the gameplay carries it's weight, it could leave a lasting impact on non-traditional anime fighters, arena or otherwise. Arena Fighters have not tried to do SHIT to push the genre since 2019, where imo Kill la Kill IF and Jump Force were the only ones trying to do anything. They both failed in very specific key areas and it doomed them into lacking any real legacy. Bleach could make up for that tenfold, and we might see arena fighters try and step up their game and improve, instead of some random studio shitting out a cash grab, or CyberConnect2 making yet another Storm game, whether it's Naruto or reskinned as some other anime. I'm so fucking excited for this game man, I swear.

modern controls are absolutely ret*rded. The fact that you completely negate stun pressure, fireballs, overheads, all due to 1 button ult is fcking gamebreaking. When you play in 1600+ Masters against a Modern Control Guile you cannot do shit to him in situations where you 100% could if only he didnt have a 1 button ultimate. This game has a fair amount of frame-betting. So sometimes you delay a move but you still bet your frames against the enemy for the counter hit, but against a moder fcker you cant cuz he will 1 button frame 1 ult you. It needs to be banned once you reach diamond.

The more I play this game the more I realize it wasn’t worth the 100 I spent on it way to many problems that cause you to lose I don’t see myself playing this game much longer or at least constantly to many negatives only thing is the great graphics it’s 2024 we about to have robots n we still have input delay
