Bringing guns to a fist fight ruins the immersion for me. Tolerated Yoshimitsu back in Tekken 1 when he used his sword but since he is a staple character I made him the exception. But Guns, chainsaws, daggers... Naw. If Namco want to do that there is Soul Calibur. Other than that, I really like the gameplay in this game though I don't like most of the stages and music.

@@SolessSol Appreciate your thoughts. Yup, I am indeed a legacy player. Started from T1. My favourite Tekken games are Tekken 3, Tekken 5 Dark Ressurection, Tekken 8 and Tekken 2. From a gameplay point of view, I think Tekken 8 is the most in-depth, a true sequel to Tekken 3. In terms of my most favourite 3D fighting games, I'd say my top 5 are Virtua FIghter 5R, Virtua FIghter 3, Tekken 8, Virtua FIghter 4 Evolution, and Tekken 3 / Virtua Fighter 2. Yeah, I'm pretty deep in the love of these type of games. Question - When did you started playing Tekken, especially to a deep level and what are your top 5 3D fighting games (SF6 not included as it's still fundamentally a 2D fighting game though I love it)? Curious about your history. :)
