Great progress Mike,,, maybe a divider between the computer and bench will help with the dust?

How's she goin'? That's a good idea Steve!! I was thinking of something like that but it would only create an 'end' on the bench and that would turn into a great spot to pile stuff!! I think the big problem with both is that it doesn’t look like you wire brushed the rust away prior to painting. Definitely the spray goes on much thinner and won’t look as good covering that unprepared surface. I think spray is better otherwise.

How's she goin'? Thanks for watching and commenting. That's pretty nice of you. I did take a needle scaler to the rims one time and spent a long time trying to get the rust off. Don't Wrestle with ideas and concepts and plans! That'll wear you out before the day is started! (and you'll need that energy to shampoo, dry and brush the squirrels later🐿). The scaffold clutter when you began looks just like my workshop everyday--why change a good thing? I love that little cubby shelf in the corner. Man, I could have that crammed full in no time! Don't waste Hair Grease on screws....squirrel grease is better (and you'll have it on the towel after you bathe and dry them). You said the bench will slide back "Uptight" against the wall. I don't think it will be stressed at all and it will instead be quite happy there. Good idea to slide the big, heavy drawer onto the table saw with 2 by 4s. (They sell a fine hernia strap on Amazon for the after effects). All in all a great project and an entertaining video. Keep 'em coming, Mike.

One fine day can I fly you out here and straighten out the reno happening here. Mybrother and a couple friends are doing the reno on the bathroom in my home. Lots of great ideas but not much happening on the work side of things. Actually it all comes down to putting them into my wheelchair for a few hours to understand the physics involved. It's not as easy as it looks eh, LOL. Hugs to Nannie J and you too old friend. Love ya both a lot !
@GrampiesWorkshop2 күн бұрын
Hey there Dean!! Having to access and use everything from a wheelchair sure makes for some inventive designing. Here's a story for ya. I sometimes have to take Janet to the hospital in Truro. This is just a new hospital, only built in the last 10 years or so. Well when I take Janet in there I get a wheelchair for her. So this is a 'new' hospital and you would not believe how terrible it is to get around in there if you have a wheel chair. The chair is probably 36" wide and most doors there are only about 38" if that. All the door jams are marked and smashed from chairs running into them. Half the auto door openers have the door swing into you when you push the 'open' button!! Duh. And the washrooms, well now there is another story. Even the 'wheelchair accessible' ones are terrible. You wheel into them and close the door, then they are so small you can't turn the chair around and get out of it without being a contortionist. And the biggest gaff of all is in the parking lot. In the handicap parking there are 6 inch high curbs every where. In order to get the wheel chair over the curb, it needs to have 4 wheel drive!! OK that's enough ranting. Glad to hear you're getting your washroom refit Dean. I hope it all works out good for ya buddy!! Take 'er easy!!!

@@GrampiesWorkshop We (they) discovered black mold aso it had to be chased down and repaired or a bath of "Kilz" , Great stuff but why is there wet insulation to track down and found a barely leaking tub tap.
