The Wild Eastern Baloney Hunt Season for 2024 has come and gone!! Let's look at some of the excitement from the hunt!!!
I was lucky enough to come across this TNN, the Tractor News Network, rare interview done by Mike Massey, the famous award winning live reporter.
He went into the field to actually interview 2 famous outdoors men, Sunny Summerfield and Rusty Wright about their recent 2024 Wild Eastern Baloney Hint experience.

Mr Shufflebottom seems pretty stiff but Very "Well Suited." Sunny seems just bit mouthy, But Very enthusiastic (I think he's wearing a vest I gave to "Frenchies" second hand store a few decades ago). It never fails, talk of Baloney hunting always gets emotions and tempers running wild. I'm glad that Sunny didn't get his face smashed in !! Where I come from A little yellow-vested-smart-ass like Sunny, usually get taken aside for a "talikin' to. "Wear the Fox hat"has to be the best advice I've ever heard! Excellent job, Mike. I think you need to make these newscasts a regular part of the channel and not just for baloney hunting updates. Just leave Sunny back in the city! Well done! Full Stars!

Mike Massey is handsome and stylish with just the right amount of television presence without being flashy. Mr. Shuffllebottom needs a vacation. He seemed very much like those two fellas, the Wigwam and The Teepee: Just like them, he's two tents! He needs to loosen his tie and relax outdoors...maybe do a little baloney hunting himself.

Really hilarious buddy. I did see some chicken baloney this fall when I was out for a walk. But they aren't worth wasting your time hunting. I know they sell those chicken baloneys in GaintTiger, but I am not sure if they are wild though. I think maybe a product of China. Those mini tractors are about all I can afford lol. If you really want to catch some baloneys you might want to head up to Ottawa. They say there are lots up there. But sometimes the baloneys disguise themselves as politicians. This year I learned not only do they hunt bologna on the rock but also back in NS, and I was blind to it, think its some secret hunting club, 😂until now. I know NS has to have some of the best wild bologna if you venture near that valley, you won't be able to stop at one pan fry.

Wear the fox hat. I heard that before. Too bad I don't have one to wear. Down here in the settled and civilized southwestern Michigan we only have the farm raised baloney. I do have to watch out though the farmers have been trying to come up with a new way to get rid of all the corn since everybody went coo coo for battery operated cars. I also heard that the Western Michigan University Ag Dept has come up with a way to disguise a field corn ear to look exactly like a wild baloney. You might want to let the boys know that the only way to tell if it's a Corney Baloney is to pull the cob out and get to hunting.

Just a couple of questions...Do you need a license to hunt wild boloney? Can a Newf like me get a license to hunt? Are wild boloney about the same size as the 10 pound farmed boloney? We called the farmed ones "a leg of boloney". Do the wild boloney have one leg and you follow the tracks of something hopping?

But here in 'merry'times (as far as I know) there is a season for them. It's the 2nd weekend after the 1st weekend of November and yes it's only 2 days long! Good hunting!! LOL Take 'er easy!!

@@GrampiesWorkshop Thanks. I viewed the link and must say, after hunting all my 79 years in Newfoundland I have never seen signs of a wild baloney. Obviously they can't be snared because the impressions in the snow seem to indicate they would slip right through. There was a time when we had no moose on the island. Now they thrive here after being introduced from the mainland. I would certainly like to get my hands on a male and a female boloney and breed them. I don't think they can float or swim like farmed boloney. One time someone robbed my fathers shop of a 10 lb. boloney but it escaped. It ended up in the ocean and got caught in a fisherman's net 3 miles away.
