Dude, you just answered my google question! Hell yeah, you can use a Bass on a Kemper. Now, it's time to break out my 59' P Bass. Awesome video dude.

In my case the weakest link in the PB-20 was the awful thick neck. Changed the one in mine for a beat up '90s Samick neck I got used (19mm thick front to back @fret 1) and it plays like a dream now. The neck fitted, but shortened the scale so it required to push the bridge a little back. The pickup is not that bad. Still I of course can see the more focused lows and great barking mids in your EMGs. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKOmhmWCeLSLmtE I've recently got to upgrade the (still cheap) P-bass section of my quiver with the addition of a USA Peavey Fury III and a Squier CV '70s Precision. The way I use my basses (highly compressed SansAmp or Darkglass flavors at varying gains) the PB-20+Samick neck hybrid is totally competent compared to those. At the same time the pickup in the Squier CV has the nicest most growling mids. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jF67qoFnj7psmrc kzbin.info/www/bejne/oGTdpKl4fLqDr9k

I just got the G3. I can confirm that plugging it straight into the interface and applying IR will result in cool sounds.

I have a stock 2001 fender precision base made in Mexico works perfect. I’m thinking about switching pick ups to Seymour Duncan quarter pounders is this going to affect the value of the guitar

I like the B7K Ultra a lot better. I like that w/the Grunt there are 3 ways to set the amount of low end that can be distorted. This makes it very versatile so that we can get farting synth to vintage to modern if going from boost to flat to cut. It has a stronger top end over the AO, and I find that easier to tame if I want less of it than having to add to the AO what top end that it didn't have to begin with.

just wanted to say the Boss Metal zone detroys this pedal! I had my cousins over yesterday to watch the game, Canadiens beat Boston in overtime by the way whooo hoooo, and I had just bought the revv a couple of weeks ago and had rebough the metal zone. I had one in the 80's. I had switched to amps like engl and framus etc.... ok so my cousin is playing riffs and I start with the revv got an ok distortion but found that I couldnt tweek it any better and that it did not satisfy me, just missing perfection you know? this is paired with the Boss equalizer by the way in a v shap. so then I decide to try the metal zone that I know is very heavy, so I start tweeking to him playing this very heavy riff non stop and found many different cruching sounds but at the end of maybe 5min I found heaven no words could really explain it except for perfection. and even had room. but this spot simply was IT! crushed the revv to bites. it's distortion at max and the two middle button facing each other top and bottom buttons. the first 2 at 9 oclock and the second two at 3 oclock. around there you will find pure eargasm. Its the same as in the 80's I remembered I had the first 2 at 8 and the second 2 at 4 oclock. very close depends who's playing and pick ups etc.. but still around the same thing. this is in front of the amp. this amp has no fx loop but I remember in does days I had a peavy that had an fxloop and it sounded great both ways. The revv will be put on sale. I also have the Sabbra Cadabra for the sabbath sound that I will keep for now. I just got the Swollen Pickle for fuzz that I will be trying out. In conclusion for good distortion and huge versitility I recommend the metal zone hands down :)

How to make the sire v7 sound so growly and nice, all my profiles on kemper sound dull and without any bite/grit to it. v7 output is in general quite quiet... did you use only the active preamp with volume maxed out?

If anyone is looking for this pedal b7k ultra n doesn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it. Look up Demonfx D7k ultra it will run u $89 to $100 depending on where you buy it from and sounds the same even shamelessly looks the same . I’m very pleased with mine and so is my wallet.

Hi Lubo, what strings do you use? My budget is tight and I'm looking for good value for money: strings that sound good and last long Any advice?

Hi, I normally use the Thomann Harley Benton HQ Set. The standard set is fine too but tends to sound dull after a while. It's certainly the best budget friendly string I've used.

Bro that riff and sound of the phaser and the rotary leslie are damn incredible. Is it part of a song or do you mind if I steal the riff and sound? hahaha. Great video by the way.

I have one of these cheap basses. The tone control doesnt do anything until the last 10% of the sweep. Then it just drops out completely. I may just get a cheap loaded pick guard from Ebay. About $16. I'll toss it in the trash before I put hundreds of dollars of electromics and hardware on the bass. Its simply not worth it.

Fantastic video. Very well done! What DI do you prefer for bass and has there been any compression applied before your signal hits the Kemper? Trying to nail down some of these tones. Thanks, 🙏
