Hi there cool video thanks. I see that Air France 🇫🇷 nowadays uses a bigger aircraft on this route. A Boeing 737-900. My next time in Fortaleza I will definitely fly with AIR FRANCE 🇫🇷.

Well that went super smooth, didn’t it? You were rebooked automatically and where is the chaos? What do you expect from an airline in case a plane goes tech? You have access to the Platinum Service line so you can be rebooked within a few minutes. There is also a good connection via LIS to FOR. Could have been an option as well so you’d arrive on the same day.

Informative and it seems KLM is giving our different amenity kits on different routes in Premium Economy. My last tip from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur I received a 'full' amenity kit in Premium Economy, end of June this year. So they either took your advice or had too many complaints about the laundry bag accessory. I also enjoy the Premium Economy, in fact I prefer it over Business Class in KLM, as even though the Bus Class seat is fully flat, it is still to short for my length to fully stretch my body and legs down flat. Just a word of advice, KLM is very strict about filming in the cabin, I see you did film other passengers and cabin crew and you were lucky, KLM explicitly forbids this and you can end up being held up upon arrival.... Good video though!

You make no mention of showers in either lounge. If I have been flying long haul, a shower is very important.

At 4:00, you can adjust the windows by swiping from left to right to dim them, and from right to left to return to normal visibility. The crew has the ability to override this feature, but when the aircraft is on the ground, you won't be able to use it.

Thanks. I was trying to determine if I needed to pass through passport control before or after gate F9...solved it. Passport control first, then access the lounge near the entrance to the F area.

I agree with you, KLM premium economy feels better than Air France. I think the food in AF PE is the same as in economy, in KLM it is a little better etc. Just came back home after an AF business class flight Paris x Rio and unfortunately the business AF is in decline. I don´t understand why the staff in business is so boored and unfriendly, maybe because they are old and 'experienced'. Next fligts booked in economy with both AF and KLM. Oh, yes... Your videos are great! Keep up the good work!

I flew Air France premium economy MIA to CDG 2yrs ago, it was on a 777. I did not like the dinner service, the breakfast had a tad more than yours, but overall was unhappy. I expected better. I hope to fly KLM next year and see what they are like. Great video!

Your comment about the KLM amenity kit made me think. I think if you look at the value of both the probably cost the airline exactly the same. As KLM is Dutch chances are their approach was pragmatic instead of cheap: "How can we give the passenger something that would be useful in the future?" Would that be possible?

Flight cancellations when boarded are stressful for sure...deboard the plane, arrange alternatives. Even worse when you have a sequence of flights. In the "old days" you just queued up at a reticketing desk and it was sorted out for you. Now it's all apps and phone calls. You're absolutely right - stick with an airline/alliance as status gives a lot of benefits.

SAS membership in Star Alliance made less and less sense as the alliance expanded. It arguably has too many airlines in Europe, often competing for the same customers: Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, Brussels, SWISS, Austrian), LOT, Croatia, TAP Portugal, Turkish Airlines plus SAS. SAS makes much more sense in SkyTeam which has weaker coverage in Europe, particularly in northern Europe.

Beautiful sunset during the approach/landing.

If we remember that you can get a ticket between Fortaleza and Rio de Janeiro (a 3-hour flight) for R$ 300,00 (54 euros) on the internet, it's not hard to believe why the on-board service within Brazil is almost non-existent. For that price, even a bag of chips and a drink is pretty okay. Your experience when flushing is incredible. It was really cool and I even thought "he threw the paper on purpose, to test if it works!" 11:52 Nice to see the "GOL & AIRFRANCE-KLM" plates on the bulkhead at the front of the cabin.

Wanting yet another extra piece of luggage is unrealistic in my opinion, since there is only so much luggage that can fit on a plane. And if you receive an extra piece, that might lead to less possibility for others to bring checked luggage. So maybe the airline can think of another perk to give platinum members whether it is at the lounge or a better seat or a discount for future tickets bought.

6:40 Such a nice view. Maybe your neighbour's back garden, somewhere in Stavanger or in its vicinity. Overcast and cold just like I love it. 17:10 If someone would like to see how cattle feel during transportation, this is close to it. For a 12-hour flight, this is difficult to believe. And the hard material used to manufacture the back of the seats makes it even worse. I remember the days where seats were fully padded.

Food for the BA flight looked way more appetizing and more plentiful than the ones for the KLM flights you've been showing so far. I haven't been posting comments lately, but I am still a loyal fan of the trip reports. As always, you don't leave a single detail off of the videos. Thank you for sharing such good entertainment with us. Praying for a lot more videos to come.

I want to take this flight (in the opposite direction, I live in Fortaleza), I have already planned it, but I lack the courage to travel alone. It's a long flight time. It's good to see videos like yours.
