I imagine the price of hotels near the airport but, in any case, I think it is an investment in comfort. Have you ever thought about using a hotel room on these occasions? I've been through something like this and it really is an immense discomfort. A brazilian youtuber ("Vou na Janela" channel) also showed the chaos involving rats at AMS especially during the small hours. Aren't there any sleeping booths? In some airports within Brazil there is a smart company called siesta box that offers this option (small cabins where one can sleep) at a reasonable/fair price. Jeg ser for meg prisen på hoteller nær flyplassen, men i alle fall tror jeg det er en investering i komfort. Har du noen gang tenkt på å bruke et hotellrom ved disse anledningene?

Thanks for the reply! As I mentioned in the video I am never doing this again, ever! Instead of spending money on a hotel I'll rather spend more money on finding connections on the same day. Also, its not only about the money, its also the hassle of leaving the airport, finding a taxi, checking in, checking out, another taxi, security etc.... the one thing I hate most about travelling is going through security! Once per travel is enough :)

@@strictlyflying3247 I guess that there are hotels within walking distance! No need for a cab. But your future plans regarding fast connections which don't involve overnight stays are the best plans!

There is an airport hotel in the lounge and sleeping cabins. The ibis hotel is cheap. In season 150 single room ineuro off season 75. Free transport 24 /7. You spend a lot off money on flights etc, but donot want to spent 100 extra. You think dutch😂

Hi, thanks for the reply! I know there are hotels nearby but what you need to keep in mind is the fact that I already arrived quite late and the time for me to step outside and grab a taxi to the hotel, check in, get 4-5 hours of rest, then get up at 04 in the morning, grab a taxi back to the airport, go through security and to the gate would not be worth 150 euros for a hotel + 50-70euros on taxi. Also its not only about the money but also the hassle of spending so much time just getting to the hotel and into your room. I also hate going through security. Its probably the thing I hate most about travelling :)
