The 50% damage is such a random/arbitrary # tbh. Now everybody plays hybrid builds. Enh shammies, boomies, and SPs, in particular, "come back up" the ladder, which have already been very, very strong. Initially I thought 10 - 25% should be good, so nobody kills each other in one rotation.

I assume they stack, and that's why some people are choosing to use alchemy instead of engineering. But I don't know any ferals druids that are using that. So I can't tell you 100%.

@Lecutes1990 it's not just about damage do you play the game? Rogues are literally glass cannons you catch them out of stealth they are a free kill. That's the problem everyone cries that all classes should do the same damage but ignore all the utility heals and slows etc certsin classes have while other classes have none, pally does good burst damage as well but without bubble any mongoloid ranged player can easily kite you and people cry nerd there to, meanwhile ele shamans warlock priests and druids are now raid bosses with their self heals

i only play melee classes so its feeling real bad atm if it goes live might be me done with sod, had an 50 elemental shaman ganking in ash incursion before he was taking on like 10 lvl 45s and it was like we were throwing wet toilet paper at him, way of earth plus 50% less damage and his maelstrom heals with shamanistic rage keeping his mana up, he was like a raid boss edit: oh and lets not forget his shield as well

What a garbage 'fix'. Instead of nerfing these overpowered classes and abilities or even adding resilience to pvp gear to compensate we're getting a band aid fix that did nothing to begin with. SoD dev team keep showing us how out of touch they are with their own game.

Because you won't have combo point issue either way, better to have the talents linked in the description for more damage as we don't even use our combo points most of the time!. They are updated since the video was released.

Wall of text inc! Suggestion: make a feral pve guide for Wow SoD, not just this phase, but covering feral gameplay as a whole with the (so far) new runes. Going over how to think/Weave in powershift with KotJ. E.g. should a use all my mana in the beginning of an encounter to powershift 4 times, or should I spread them out a bit between each use if Tigers fury? Which attacks should we actually use? How and when should we deviate from our rotation? Is it ever better to use feriocious bite over Rip? I know this is a tall order but there are so little good information out here and some guides are just bad and filled with misinformation. I swaped from Boomie to feral(tank/dps) for this phase and I actually looked at your logs to get a better understanding on how to play feral dps.

Half of that has been covered in my phase 1, 2 and phase 3 dps guides. If you haven't looked at them, you should. There's no reason to deviate from rotation. We have like 3 buttons to use, anything else in this phase is dps loss. Ferocious bite is a dps loss, I press it sometimes when boss has like 1% hp but I am pretty sure I never seen it do more damage than shred. It's a useless button. Powershifting should be, for longer fights, powershift -> shred -> shred -> shift. Repeat like that. Sure if you have short fight and won't really run out of mana for the fight (shamnistic rage etc) you could powershift for 1 shred, but, with energy ticks they line up very well with 2 shreds per shift

Eng+LW is BIS - Crafted items, and you can use the consumes. Anything past that is up to you.

One Question I didn't see in the video. At what point do you use berserk is it before you mangle on the opener or after you get rip on so you can Tiger Fury back to 100% energy then berserk?

If I can pop them right away I try want mangle + SR up, then I use berserk, shred until low energy -> tiger's fury -> shred if needed then rip. I try to always rip with Tiger's Fury active. So in other words, after mangle and savage roar

Yeah I heard incursions are very good for gold. I sold a libram for 250g and farmed some flowers and sold that instead. I enjoy gathering even if it's slower. It does suck that most people are feeling forced to do incursions or even buy gold.

People said there's a breath bar when you are being consumed by the slime, I wasn't aware because I always use Noggenfogger Elixir and when you're skeleton you don't have breath bar in water etc.

I see you're using rip. Is that something we should be keeping up if we don't need to refresh roar? Or is it ok to keep shredding past 5 combo points? We never ever use bite except MAYBE at the last second right?

I do have a DPS guide on my channel. However, you keep savage roar up, if you have it up, you use rip, preferably with Tiger's Fury active. Then you keep spamming shred until you need to refresh savage roar or re-apply rip (after it falls off). Ferocious bite is a scam and you might use it last second because you can.

is popping berserk before you have SR and Rip up the way to go in classic? i assumed it was similar to wrath where you'd want to set up buffs and debuffs so you can prio shred spam during berserk....

The fights are too short. You wanna pre-pop Savage Roar where possible and then use berserk to do as many shreds as you can, you'll only put rip up once anyway because of the rune that increases it's length and Savage Roar you apply if you have to. Savage Roar is your #1 prio. You wanna try to put rip up with Tiger's Fury though for snapshotting the extra damage.
