Christian often believe in the concept of divine simplicity which is not based on scriptures. It is for this reason they often say things like god is love instead of saying god is most loving like muslims. It is by this phylosophy, he was saying god is energy and made creation part of creator. If you define energy as smallest particles or wave, then it is allah who created these things. If you define energy or power as the abillity to do something then to allah belongs all power. We creation do not have any power of our own. The power we have is given by allah and can be taken away by him as he wills. Phylosophy often confuses and overcomplicate things especially when the words are not clearly defined and when it is used to describe allah in a way that he did not describe himself. The principle that energy can neither be created or destroyed is based upon phylosophy of natuarilism and materialism which do not take into account the existence of creater who wills the creation into existence from prior non-existence. May allah guide us all so that we will be happy in this life and hereafter.
