The semitic trio: Hebrew (spoken by Moses), Aramaic (spoken by Jesus) and Arabic (spoken by Muhammad) are abjad (consonants only) languages with typically trilateral roots for words. Hebrew alphabet were based on hieroglyphs but used for phonemes although hieroglyphic depictions crept into the meaning of the letters. Alif, the first letter of the alphabet in both Hebrew and Arabic, or the ă sound, used an ox head glyph and the letter implies, authority, power, oneness. The second letter, bet or the baa sound used a family tent glyph, and implies family. Thus the root for father is ab which Implies authority or power of the family.

i am from Yemen a tripe called ALMEHRA we are one of the original Arabs but we don't speak Arabic we speak a language called MEHRA language its different from Arabic very much. until now we speak our language.

Arabic is the language of turah, bible and quran. Old aramiac are accent of old arabic language. Moses, issah and Muhamed are arabic people from arabic countries. Thanks a lot.

Fosha is the standard Arabic that all Arab can understand each others. Quran is written in fusha it is different than everyday speaking. It is like Latin and English. No Arab nowadays speak fusha Arabic .In Arab world books are written in fusha so all Arab from different Arab countries can understand because each country people speak different dialect.
