The buggy choke is not real. People who tap to it would tap to mount pressure or anything slightly uncomfortable

The buggy choke doesn’t work that well. It really depends on the body and it depends on the person I think.
@avatarbeauku8677Сағат бұрын
It’s VERY situational. Conditions have to be almost perfect for it to truly get locked in and work.

I like to step over to fake (or get) an armbar. They defend it exactly the same as in this video. If I dont get the armbar I usually get the americana

Convenient of them to rest their chin on your forearm instead of just turning their head.

Cool 1 i learned from my high school wrestling coach who showed us after practice, & admitted it would probably only work ~20% of the time, is swing 1 of your arm up as if doing a jumping jack, then bring it down behind you fast & try to get leverage around the guys waste to turn into hik

I really needed to figure this out. I constantly trained with higher belts and it made me timid and defensively oriented. I'm now a blue belt who is a pain in the butt to try to get but I can't get anything on folks. I've come across this advice in a few places and am starting to implement it.

Trap and roll. Lean your head to the opposite side of the direction of the roll. Try to control both arms of the opponent. Not many people can stay put when you get the technique down.

Man I had a big guy on me the other day and completely froze up. You make this stuff look so simple. 1 stripe white belt.
@hentaisailor5951Күн бұрын
Sometimes with those big guys, it just feels impossible to escape. Biggest dude I rolled with was like 6'5" and had to be around 300lbs and when he got to side control or mount, it was just over for me.😂

I’ve been skipping since a white belt, firmly believe it’s the best (for myself) escape there is even against much bigger and heavy pressure guys

Demi Lovato only rolls with her trainer and got a purple belt by now. The videos which I saw by her do not justify this. What a punch into the face for all those hard-working people trying to reach the purple belt.

I feel like a good way to not get thrown off of mount if you're smaller is to grab their head and put the grape vines in. The grape vines are when you wrap your feet around their calves and shins. Doing this and grabbing the head, they won't be able to throw you off no matter how strong they are. This is because when you grab their head and put the grape vines in, you're connected to them. Rener and Ryron Gracie talk about this a lot in Gracie Combatives.

I have noticed that when i roll and mount, i always get thrown off😅 So now, i just stick to side and hold on as tight as i can😅
