none at all, but I did encounter one display issue, but that was due to a loose display ribbon cable. Eitherway I got it fixed under warranty for free.

Hi i am using G15 Zephyrus my fps are Ok, only issue i had while playing Valorant my agent lag quickly while it move forward and go back to normal for few times. Not like urs the movement is normal and smooth. Have you experience when you first set it up your Asus before? Thanks in advance.

hey, have you set your system to use the nvidia gpu as the preferred gpu? you can set it in nvidia control panel. By default it’s automatic, change it to dedicated nvidia…. And change the mode in armoury crate to performance mode/turbo and see if that helps. That’s all I can think of at the moment, will let you know if anything more. Yeah I did run into some funny stutters when I initially set up the laptop, but then i realised it wasn’t defaulting to the nvidia card in every game, and so I changed that and it’s all good!

Thanks for the reply, my gpu is already set to Nvidia, after i reinstalled valorant and riot vanguard it did fixed the issue, I also set armoury to turbo and i just bought cooling pad to help reduced the heat.

what gpu do you have? Are you running on turbo/performance mode? Have you set the preferred gpu to dedicated nvidia gpu in nvidia control panel? Thats all i can think of right now. The second config, 3060 will trash a 3050 any day of the week. 1TB in the second config, is way better than 512GB. The third config is a strix, so more wattage to the 3060, but that cpu is one gen older. Can you just verify what cpu the second config has? Is it a ryzen 9 or an intel chip?

Watch my most recent vid on how to import 4k video, and make sure to check your sequence settings. Make sure the resolution settings in sequence settings is set to the resolution of your video!

Bro sorry it's late comment, but I want to ask regarding g15 r7 4800h 3050 version, is it still good to buy in 2022 I want to buy next Saturday. Or should I go with this version of 3060 and 5800h. Feeling like 4th gen amd processor is lil bit old. As this laptop is not frequently on the websites to buy and currently it's not (will check in offline stores if available)

It’s alright, it’s a fair question nonethless. This will be obviously better than the 4800H version as they’re 1 generation apart but not as big as a difference as you’d think. The quesion is, how much do they cost? You can only justify the purchase of the older one by telling me the cost!😁

Like 5 yrs maybe without lag and run AAA title games with playable fps? Im more concerned about longevity of 4th gen processor compared to 5th gen processor as its new (6th gen new processor are over expensive to me not included).

Hey, my bad I didn’t see the 3060 in your comment. If you plan on keeping this for 5 years, then please get the 3060 config. The processor(cpu) may not be a big jump over the 4800H, but the 3060 is a massive leap over the 3050. The 3060 laptop is worth the extra money. Let me know if you need anything else!😄

Hey , every review I see has a lot of FPS with this laptop on valorant. I bought this laptop and it is only giving me 100-140 fps when i have 240hz display and everything on low as well as all max laptop settings and power options configured. Please help !!!!!!!

@@YISTECH my laptop is asus scar strix 3 2019 . It has i7. 9750h rtx 2070 16gb ram and 240hz display. I am not using any external monitors also it has 1tb ssd. I tried every solution for fos boost on youtube didn’t work. Got my laptop’s motherboard replaced and heat sync replaced too. Re installed windows and all drivers and the game aswell still no luck

Interesting. Is your ram single channel by any chance? If you open task manager, go to performance tab and tap on ram, it’ll show if two slots are occupied or only 1 slot is occupied.

wow it seems curious to me that in my legion 5 2021 with 3050ti it shoots me more than 200 fps up to about 230-240 and here with a superior gpu it shoots less and that I also have the graphics on high very very curious it will be that it reduces the fps for the recording xd

It’s the lack of a mux switch. It’s the price you pay unfortunately for cpu heavy games. No mux switch = lesser fps in cpu heavy games.

90-92 on the cpu or gpu? If its on the cpu that should be ok, if it’s the gpu thatss quite concerning. Either way you can setup a manual fancurve in armory crate or tweak the voltage in msi afterburner

Okay, no problem. Do let me know. You could also try switching between silent, performance and turbo mode to see which one fits you better first. If none of them do, then use the manual mode and adjust the fan curve to how you want it

Already tested that, but 195-234fps. May touch 280 in some areas, but not all the time. It’s within the range of 195 to 234. Nothing lower than 195

I have Rog strix g15 with Ryzen 7 4800H, rtx 3060. Im just wondering if in this CPU temps. between 90-95 / 97 degrees is the normal thing? is there something wrong? This is what I have, for example, in Cyberpunk in turbo mode (arm crate) on settings: high / ultra, temp is 90-97 , about the Witcher from 85-95 (on uber), all with a resolution of 1920x1080. The maximum temps on this Ryzen 4800H from specs is like 105 degrees. Only then, when the processor reaches this temperature, does throttling appear? Any could help me with this question?

Ah looks like the gpu is doing quite well then. Cpu should be fine, but if you’re worried about the cpu temps, try adjust the manual fan curve in armoury crate. Out of curiosity, where do you live? Cause ambient temperature will affect the temps too
