It's all about timing. I had a treadmill I was trying to sell for weeks and no one even gave me an offer and then one Monday morning they were literally fighting for it and I ended up selling it for $100 more than I bought it brand new

Stop watching these people’s videos on how to or sell this and let them decline they are gaining wealth not off sales but rather subscribers! Talk about false idols !

Recommend staying away from Temu. It supports China's CCP; forced labor manufacturing; stolen product design, marketing, etc. The App collects your online/device data (as all apps do) which they profit from & makes it even more accessible to foreign hackers & scammers.

Great video tribute to an awesome and inspiring man! I appreciate you taking the time to make this video that shares a snippet of the hard work and effort Matt has put into helping and encouraging others. He doesn’t do it for the money, although that is a necessary part of it now to support his family, but he truly has a heart to bless and encourage others. He’s “the real McCoy” so to speak.

Well done sir and I started my own business about a year ago. There were two people that helped me to decide to make my move to my own business. Matt at 731 woodworks made a video I think it is called running out of time and it really resonated with me and hit home. The other person is Matthew peech with his out of the box marketing and woodworking plans called smalls that are profitable. These to man had professional jobs that they left for there family’s. I admire both these man and there decision to leave there comfort zone for there family and now teaching other to do the same God bless 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Great video! I appreciate it as one of the first #Tubafournation members! I started following Matt around the same time you did - the first purchase I made from 731 Woodworks was the plans for the entryway bench with shoe storage. I made one for myself and one as a Christmas present for my mom! 👊

This video was done in such an amazing and beautiful way! Thank you so much for supporting Matt and putting something like this together - there are not very many things that make me cry and laugh at the same time but this did! He really is a good man who loves the Lord - he is his genuine self and I love that others see that. Good luck on the future of your channel!!!

I think I found Matt when I was looking for which table saw to buy. I had zero knowledge of saws, didn’t want to spend alot of money but wanted something that was good. I now have the skil saw table saw. Cheap, easy to use, and works great! Thanks for sharing! I love Matthew Peech too! I plan to make his shelf that converts to a table one day. Goals!

Short, direct and to the point without giving your life story. This was exactly what I was looking for and got me sorted out in less than a minute. Thank you for this video! One additional note, I've started exporting to STEP instead of STL, which results in a larger file, but allows the slicer to do the calculations on the curves. The result is a higher resolution curve which when sliced and printed reduces the likely hood of vertical fine artifacts showing up on your print. You get a true curve instead of a "blocky" curve.

Thanks for that tip, I did this but before that I might have mangled the tip and nozzle a bit too much with a screwdriver I think as now with the cleaned nozzle back on, the glue keeps flowing out of the tip when turning the bottle even though the nozzle is pushed back in where it should not be leaking at that point.. I'm afraid the glue will more easily dry out soon now...any ideas how to fix that? Thanks!

I just made my first ever order today. I ordered the router top plate and had an offer for a free gift so I picked the T-track bolts with knobs. We'll see how it goes. I have the exact same corner strap and if you plan on using it on picture frames like I intended it slips off because the straps are actually above the work piece.
@Corey.Deaton2 ай бұрын
Nice. Good luck with those. Let us know how they work if you think of it. Hmm, I’ll have to try that out this weekend

Definitely have to consider the seasons when making some wooden pieces. Some pieces, especially indoor pieces can sell year round. Holidays can be good money making times. When i used to set up at flea markets I learned the more you have to offer the better the sales. some things don't sell very good but don't toss them. Mixing some of them with the pieces that do sell just keeps the offerings stocked. Of course you want more that sell than don't. I did airbrush work and had a couple hundred different designs for car tags. Some I never sold but many did. Car tags are personalized so offering items you can put the customers name on can help sales. I'm retired now and looking for a way to make a little extra money and I like woodworking so getting started with that. Slow going because like what you said about getting motivated and then not doing anything is where I am. lol. Actually getting started is often the hardest part.
@Corey.Deaton2 ай бұрын
That is very cool and valuable to have all that experience in sales. I’m sure it helps you in your woodworking business as well. It can definitely be tough to get started. There’s two things I bounce between for motivation to get out there: 1. Take time to clean my shop / get stuff set up for what I want to make. Basically, make it as easy as possible for myself to get started. 2. Commit to going out to the shop for 5 minutes. If I’m still not feeling it, I have permission to call it a day. But more often than not, I get into it and get work done.

Just an FYI, I can't find the laser I use on Amazon anymore (it's been a couple years). I linked an equivalent one in the description though if you are interested. Hope this was helpful!
@rickpouley75613 ай бұрын
I bought my first laser 2.5 years ago... I purchased the Ortur Laser and started using the laser to add my logo, and then on the cutting boards to personalize them. I wore out the first Ortur and purchased another. I have also burned the 2nd one out too and now I have purchased the X-Tool P2 CO2 laser and I use this to also expand my business from just engraving cutting boards etc..

Why not make a master template out MRF or plywood with the steps you show in the video and then use a flush trim bit and the master template to make the final piece? Then you keep the master template for when you need to make that state again.
