Will not work with HISS systems or other bikes that need the key to be in the ignition, a relay will be needed, will work fine on the small cheap China mopeds and 125 bikes they make. This type of alarm is more of a toy than a bike alarm, handy for other uses such as garages etc, some set on fire as China produced £15 alarms tend to do that.

What would I connect the orange wire too in order to use the key fob to turn on the ignition? I don't want it to remote starter aswell, just turn the ignition on, is it doable?

So, if I understand you correctly, the 2006 model should have the 'correct' values of the resistors? Great job by the way. Did you get it back to work?

I can confirm that the magnet position is the issue why the bud remain connected and draining battery. Once I apply some glue and some paper in order to keep compact the magnet in position solve my issue. PD: Sorry for my bad english.

Hey there, I’m a Toyota mechanic and this is the correct procedure for adjusting the handbrake. Good luck!!! 👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻 MR2 (RM762E) BRAKE - PARKING BRAKE LEVER PARKING BRAKE LEVER ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION Parking brake lever travel at 196 N (20 kgf, 44.1 Ibf): 5 - 8 clicks If incorrect, adjust the parking brake. 2. Nice presentation. A warning to NOT hook up yellow wires to modern can bus / LED bikes. They supply 12V and turn signals are sometimes 3-6V and they will blow more than a fuse. I bought some cheap, stand-alone 12v LED strips with the adhesive backing. You can chose your color. IF, I hook up the ignition kill, I'll wire in a bypass jumper - male female spade, bullet, etc., under the seat.

Li-ion battery continuously on charge and heated environment of closed car is dangerous. You could have used phone without battery directly on cars 12 v battery in sleep mode and ignition current via charging port to activate the car dashboard application as soon as car ignition is switched on.
@Tmo1972 Жыл бұрын
It's not continuously charging - it has a charge controller

Hi Tim, I've recently purchased a second hand bike with a Spy 5000 alarm fitted which looks very similar to the one you have described here. I don't need an alarm and am worried about it going wrong at some point. In order to disable it do I just remove the power supply and earth cables, and will my bike then revert to normal operation ? Many thanks in anticipation. cheers, Alan
@lucaspeltie Жыл бұрын
depends on if the killswitch wire (usually black and white) was cut. If it is cut and you remove the alarm, the bike will always be able to start with the kick start, even with ignition off.

The build quality on the controllers is crap, I've bought 4 the first one worked but when it was put back together didn't push air through, the second a couple of traces had been over solded together and I got the 3rd one installed and works but the blue resistor with the screw is loose, it works for now I got one spare, yes as someone else mentioned using bell set it is adjusting voltage so possibly in the long run it will kill the motor, word to people using the new grey air heater / bubbles like what's on the lazy spa hawaii check the wiring they had used blue neutrels as lives and lives as neutrels look on the circuit board it has initials stamped!

I have found a fuse for power (removing fuse behaves like turning a key off - engine stops). I want to cut one of the cable leading to this fuse and put '2 cables' from the alarm connecting it again via alarm unit so when alarm goes off - the power is off. Which cables allows me to do that?

Thanks for this video. I have this same system on my maxiscooter. It was installed by the previous owner. The ingnition start button never seemed to work but other than that the system worked fine. Since recently, all of a sudden, the system arms itself after being disarmed. It always happens afer 14-15 seconds. It even does so while the engine is running. The only way to stop it from happening is pressing the ignition start button/lightning key twice and putting it in 'ignition' mode. Do you have any idea why this would suddenly happen? Is it just broken or did I press a button combination for auto-arming. Thanks in advance.

Adding a speed controller that uses a depreciation of Volts will over wear your motor. The unit has been designed to pull 800 watts so as you lower the voltage the motor requires more current to keep the field flux active. Because it's a AC motor you will find it incredibly difficult to control the speed using a external device. This is why fans have 4 wires coming out of the Motors because it has three individual coils that are wound to produce less current but still keep the same hertz throughout the windings
