You see I think that’s the part about electric vehicles that nobody seems to really understand. Is that very similar things happened with the first automobiles when they first started coming out but as time went on, they got better and better and better and we use them as we do today, so I think something very similar will happen with electric vehicles. We just have to be patient.

Hi Alex, good little trick. Was wondering if you’d be keen to go for a four wheel drive at some, I’ve got an sf forester with a 2.5 inch lift and torq locker. Love watching your adventures and would be awesome to see your forester with all your mods and dccd. Also can’t believe you made it up the mt dale track! That thing is hectic, probably one of the hardest climbs in Wa, cheers

The right mods go a long way; Lower tire pressure. Bit of lift. Diff lock. A leaf or two removed from the pack? The RTV ute can go lots of interesting places =)

Along with spare axels, you might need to carry a starter motor and a clutch.....also if ya wanna live to a ripe old age have a look for that seat belt......Darwin Award material here.
@SubaruOffRoad3 ай бұрын
Look I'm hard on my gear but in 10 years of hard off roading I have never not made it home safely. No idea why this makes you think it would cause a starter motor failure, it's hardly much usage compared with the expected life of a starter. Yes it's hard on the clutch but again never had one fail. As for seat belts, I actually wear mine almost always when offroad. However, if you have ever had a car on a serious incline then you would know the angle on the inertia mechanism prevents it extending, so if you jump out to check something and let it retract by mistake, then there is no way to get it back on until the car is on more level ground again. So unless your running a 3 point harness or your car is so old it has fixed length belts you will often have this happen...
