Oh Katie; I’ve been wondering where you were. My heart goes out to you in your process of resting and healing and learning to cope with your new diagnosis. My daughter was also diagnosed late teens with autism and still grapples with all that it entails. You are definitely taking the right path to rest. Prayers for you. Sure miss you. You are so very talented.

Thank you Katie. I have a question about whether or not the steeking crochet stitches also secure both yarns involved in fair isle knitting.

Oh my!!!! I came for the steeking, completely forgot about it when i saw that cardigan and now my search is for the pattern of this cardigan!! 😂😂 Edit: I went to your Etsy shop but your shop is on holidays because you are sick..?? I hope you are better and hopefully I can buy this pattern some day.

Literally just got back from doing this stretch, wasn't quite as warm looking! Lovely journey.

This is one of my favourite stretches of Somerset coastline. Just beyond Culbone church is a spot called the Ivy Stone (not quite visible from the path, but very clear from sea) where my late father’s ashes were spread, from a fishing boat out of Minehead. Great video, really enjoyed it.

Excellent. I have yet to try a steek. I guess that most knitters are very nervous before trying for the first time. Having seen a few videos on the crocheted reinforcement and cutting, yours is the clearest and best I have seen, especially with the trim for the button band and as @sussasigne mentioned "your wonderful illustrations". As I am left-handed I will just have to experiment with whether or not I need to go up the left side and down the right side to get the crocheted stitches to lean away from where to cut the stitches. X

Thank you so much for films which brightened up my dreich,Scottish, autumn mornings. I’m in awe of you walking on those narrow, high paths. I couldn’t do it, even if I was 30 years younger. The scenery and wild life were fantastic. Enjoy planning your next trip. I look forward to seeing it.

Oh so lovely to see some of the SWCP! I learned about it reading Katherine May's The Electricity of Every Living Thing and I've been curious about it ever since.

You have so much love and support from us all. Having a diagnosis can be helpful to understand what's going on, but it doesn't change the challenges. I hope you find the rest that you need and deserve. After so much you have given to us, how could we possibly be anything but supportive when you need time for yourself. I also pray that you find answers and solace regarding your eyesight. 💚💚💚 God be with you...

That was so good. Thank you for taking us along with you. The north Somerset coast is my favourite by far. I've done your walk with my 2 friends but 30 years ago, pre mobile phones, with our trusty map and loved it as much as you all evidently did. Looking forward to your 2025 trip 😊
