You did some hard fuckin work, and now you get to do something exciting and possibly even more fulfilling. You’ve done more for the world as a neurosurgeon in several years than some have their entire life

Living a long healthy life is simple: 1. Eat healthy 2. Manage stress 3. Move your body every day 4. Don’t smoke or drink alcohol Yet the average American has a horrible diet, is constantly stressed and lives a sedentary lifestyle. We are given one life to live our body needs to be nourished and well rested to heal and reduce inflammation. Thank you so much for spreading knowledge you may have extended some peoples lives.

wow. It was a long video but you are a super high IQ man. Leaky roofs…eating too much dying of intellectual conflict. Wow. I then watched videos of Doobie who you can’t follow with a camera. Dude. your dog is a fluffy lovable idiot dog. I loved seeing Doobie with mud on her face and paws. Get another dog before Doobie passes on because you need to be here with us and share your IQ.

Thank you for sharing your story. Very inspiring and I completely understand why you quit. I have been working in the health industry for 8 years myself and saw this misery. This focus on money making and not making people really healthy long term. And your wife sounds life an amazing life partner. 😊 And it makes me very happy hearing you are very happy now.

I'm glad you are following your heart. Look into energy healing mechanisms--that's now and in the future. You can help a lot of people in their wellness. You will be amazed. You can also create a humanitarian project and be fully funded. What can contribute to humanity that you would love to do. It sounds like you are passionate about health and wellness and well-being not only physically, but spiritually. Follow the path that you are passionate about and the lights under your feet will light up and you will be shown the way. You are experiencing an awakening during this Great Awakening era. Take care!

I worked for the CIA for 10 years and just got burnt out, so I left and I’ve just been bouncing around for the last 10 years from one thing to another, some full time some part time. I really don’t have a career I want to go to. Taught myself how to day trade and that has worked out well so far. When people ask me why I left, I never have a good quick answer at my disposal because there were a myriad of factors that influenced my decision to walk away. If they really even cared I’d happily spend hours telling them my story. I think people just hear CIA and they think the Hollywood version of things and can’t understand why someone would leave that.

Day 11 of plant based diet - tons of fruits, vegetables, beans, and lentils - limiting sodium intake to 500 - 700 mg daily. Even with good exercise and sweating in the Phoenix desert (still 105 each day), I haven’t had 1 day where I felt off. Probably means I have a crap ton of extra salt stored away. Never eat fast food, but I do eat a lot of meat and go out to eat often where they probably hammer the salt in. This diet has been quite eye opening so far.

With regard to health, I have followed Wim Hof's doctrine about it because he believes that nature provides us with everything we need to be happy, healthy and strong. It is the lie of a modern capitalist society that leads you to believe that you need to buy this or that in order to be fullfilled and happy. This is propogated through everyone "chasing" and going after certain things. However once you get what you wanted, or reach the destination you had been striving for - you realise that it was temporary and you then swiftly set your sights onto the next, it is almost like a a never ending feeling of incompletness which can only be filled by chasing materialistic things. Hospitals and Doctors are great places and people, they have saved a lot of lives. However they are only there to replenish the lack that was created by the modern lifestyle we live. I believe if everyone lived properly, that is to say ate whole foods, lived an active life, spent time in nature - we would drastically reduce the need to visit doctors and hospitals in the first place. Take Goobie and his profession. He was trying to fix the broken spines of people, why did these people end up with broken spines in the first place? Why couldn't they tell that what they were doing (or not doing) was causing an issue that would eventually get so bad that surgery had to be offered as a solution. This is because they were living a life that forced them to sacrifice their health in order to obtain something like financial security through a job. That is a world that I do not want to live in, one where we choose financial security over health. I leave you with a quote from the Dalai Lama... “The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man! Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”

There's no greater sight than seeing your doggo tired after having run about all day with joy. I lost my two terriers last year and the hole in my life is large. I know everyone says it but enjoy every moment with your doggo and don't be afraid to go far and wide with him.
