I have my antenna hooked up correctly but when I go to auto program the channels (I select air) it detects 0 channels for air but 435 for Samsung tv plus.

Hi Terry. I am elderly just like "chess fella" below, and I spent MANY hours trying to "intuit"connecting my external antenna to my Samsung, all to no avail until I found your site. All the things you said seemed at first to make no sense at all. Then I was able to follow you slowly through the convoluted "Samsung TV" processes and, suddenly, BINGO! The fact that my tuner found more than 400 (!) channels was stunning, but more importantly, it found the ONE I was looking for, so now I can watch all the games of my favorite NBA team, all thanks to you. I set up my other Samsung tv with the same antenna after disconnecting cable - no problem at all. This time, I don’t know what happened but used this video and now I’ve got a real mess to try and clean up. Sorry I’m sure it works for others; my Samsung tv is a 2018 but wow.

Appreciate you trying to help ✌ For some reason when I select "Live TV Air" I don't get that GUIDE option to choose. That is exactly what I need! Because when I press the channel up or down button, it takes me right to Samsung TV channel 1000. Trying to figure it out for my Mom, and her tv. Thx again, hopefully I can figure it out.

I pulled out an old Nintendo game system from the closet and wanted to see if it still worked nearly 40 years from new and I couldn't figure out how to access the coaxial input on my 65" LCD TV. Followed your instructions for AIR Channels here and Voila! On the list of channels, channel 3 became available and my Nintendo from 1986 is playing on my Samsung LCD! 👍 Thanks again!

Seems like this and every other video about getting a guide to display for OTA/antenna channels is only available thru the "smart" features on the TV; i.e. with an internet connection. Would be primo if the OTA/antenna channels had a "guide" that was simply native to the TV; not only accessible via the internet features. Many of us don't ever use/disable the internet connections on these TV's since you can do the same & more thru Roku, Firestick, etc.
