Another nice one mate. I thought at the beginning, when you mentioned losing tackle, that a float might be the way. As for those slippery rocks, I'd be a bit tempted to get one of those small floatation devices that go off in the worst happens... Wemyss Bay was once, a fine spot for Cod, before the Clyde fishery was destroyed by the greed of commercial fishermen. What you were catching is standard, these days. The Clyde is still very poor, but it's improving slowly. As you have transport, why not, go up the west coast? Much better fishing up Oban way, and if, you go farther afield, some excellent marks. I saw your Mull vid, but you were in the wrong place to catch. If you're ever going back to Mull, message me and I'll tell you some marks.

I really appreciate and enjoyed watching your day n night trip , especially The old girl who could do with a winter overcoat. Unfortunately I've just lost my best friend Pad last week and his sister five weeks ago (parsons jack Russell's) they both loved the fishing and outdoors like Lana. I know that loch very well, having fished it once a year for the last 10 years. Unfortunately I have seen catches and rises diminish more each year and my last visit produced nothing. Also seeing more and more litter in the water including a disposable BBQ. Such a shame.

Great wee vid, Loch Long has good fishing it seems - one of the few sea lochs of the area to maintain worthwhile fishing; most of the others have been trawled to death. Seems a hard route to get there though, I’m looking at a mark further up at Guanan - might give it a go.
