I rarely replace rotors. If you will have them turned when you change pads, the brakes last much longer. Also work better and in some cases, even ride better. If you have a little wave in your rotor, it does affect your tires on the pavement. I think it's sually like $10-$12 to take your rotors and drums to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's if they still turn them. I have a buddy with a brake lathe so I haven't used one of those stores for turning rotors in a very long time. Just replacing pads is nothing more than a patch job. I also always like to pack bearings when I do brake jobs.

Even though some maintenance needs to be done. It's always nice to be outside. When i was in construction i would look for a tool. If I didnt find it in five minutes I would buy a new one. Before the day was over i would find it while looking for another tool. By the time i quit construction i had a dozen or more of every tool. Wow, Denise can say she helped work on her car She helped get the lig nuts loose. An important process if you want to the tire off so you can get to the brakes. Hope the brakes are working okay. I think we got hit by the same storm you did. It was mostly heavy rain for about 16 hours.

gotta take advantage of those pretty days for maintinence,its what keeps the farmstead goin. watch one of my brake job videos Marce, you can use a big screwdriver or small breaker bar to release the caliper tension instead of the c clamps most times. the reason your pad is wearing crooked is one or both of your caliper bracket slide bolts is seized up and not allowing the caliper to push the pads or release them and will cause alot of heat and wear to the pads , rotors and bearings along with strain on your transmission and transfer case. What year is your mountanieer? maybe 2005ish ? I can look and see if I have parts for it in my inventory.

Roter friday cost me 232$ each to replace plus brake pads anothe 69$ total bill here in in north carolina to keep me legall was 996$. Rounded off totals.😢

I keep my yeast in a jar in the refrigerator. It will also keep in the freezer. My yeast is always good. It makes awesome pizza dough. I make awesome pizza too!😊

Pizza looks good. But im not sure about summer sausage on it😮 never heard of that. I poke fork holes all over the crust and bake it till it isnt glossing looking anymore😊 then its not soggy😊

Awesome looking pizza. Glad to see you got the stove in. It brought back a lot of memories for me. As a young girl growing up we had a stove just like that. We lived in a 2 story salt box house and it heated that whole house except the bathroom. That was because it was located on the back porch. Sooo glad you have some heat now.

Why was the wood splitter running while you moved it? Load the wood and take it to the splitter. I would split it close to the house. Pizza looked great!
