Digital Productions did incredible work in the late 70's and 80's. I just reread the interview with Gary Demos and he is a low key genius. I hate that they were brought out and were not able to continue their momentum. They would have done Pixar and like work before Pixar became popular.

City2 was BBC-2s attempt to re-invent itself. Once a popular network that was home to hit shows such as "Gulong ng Palad," "Alindog," "2+2" and "V.I.P.," the deteriorating broadcast signal continued to hound the station. It was already dying if not dead (with failed attempts to launch new shows with popular stars) even before the EDSA Revolution hammered the last nail on its coffin.

Hi Ed Kramer, thank you for uploading the basement tapes about what you did in the 20th century. It helped me get into more graphics in the last decades. Maybe one day, you can talk about how glowing star fields, glowing grids, and sparkers are made using scanimate.

I used to find this logo pretty unnerving for the VHS wireframe and for the creepy music. But it’s interesting to hear how you made this animation and even that the client (obviously Prism Entertainment) requested something specific. So why did you put in the 3D VHS? Was it to emphasize Prism as a video distributor?
