Beautiful piece created on the Synopsis video synthesizer invented by analog video artist Denise Gallant with video engineer Rob Schafer. Brian Samuels also worked on this piece, along with musician Steve Roach. This is from the visual music reel that played in the lobby of the Palace Theater in Hollywood on February 12, 1985 before the "On the Threshold" show, and at intermission. Hi Ed Kramer, thank you for uploading the basement tapes about what you did in the 20th century. It helped me get into more graphics in the last decades. Maybe one day, you can talk about how glowing star fields, glowing grids, and sparkers are made using scanimate.

Wow, didn't know there was a sequel to the brilliant Snow Canon. TBH the original's still backgrounds made it more abstract; I find the live video a bit distracting here. Still great stuff, thx for the upload!

I STILL do video daily - In Santa Cruz, but still do video for the two NAMM award shows in LA, so I get my 'music video' fix at least once a year.
