Arguably the biggest dropped "questline" and missed opportunity in the history of WoW. The Ashbringer was _the_ weapon, more popular than Frostmourne, Doomhammer, Atiesh, or the Axe of Cenarius, the amount of buildup they did for the weapon only to back out during TBC, and by extension giving it to a non player character in Wrath, was such a massive disappointment.

When it comes to pets that could be tame, even to this day, its insane what pets couldn't be tamed. Like, you could not tame Gryphons, wyverns or hippogryphs until Legion.

These wraith NPCs were not removed until Cataclysm. Just like the ghosts in the ruins of Lorderon, they are invisible and neutral unless you can find where they spawn and aoe them. I found one by chain lightening a critter doing some achievement. Just saw the damage the squirrel took and then "resisted" pop up in the air nearby. Then something was wooping my ass. Combat log said it was a Cold Wraith. I barely survived only because I had ghost wolf and earth shield, they chunk.

Stop calling creative use of game mechanics abuse, it's not. Creative use of game mechanics only becomes abuse when it is used to specifically hurt other players, not when it affects nothing at all game play wise. Blizzard feeling the need to fix this unintended yet fun use of this toy, is just sucking the fun out of the situation to fill it with poop by people who can't stand others having some fun. I wasn't a hunter and I found it amusing and clever, didn't affect game play for me one bit.

Any time I watch videos about items or things removed, no one till now mentions the ragnaros core ring! I got my guild's only one before they were removed but sadly I must have vendored it at some point throughout the years.

As a hunter I never encountered him during my own quest. However I accidentally ran into the priest's one in Plaguelands. It was quite surprising and scary, clearly a Demon Hunter model but in vanilla, not used anywhere else.

Still hoping we actually end up getting a proper white dragonflight. Vyranoth mentioned "our children warped within the shell". Was thinking maybe she could have a clutch of eggs in stasis locked away somewhere. They could be written to eventually become the white flight.

Much as I liked Cata, I hate that they removed the class quests. Granted most of them were not that useful, but I have fond memories of the warlock and warrior quests.

Dragon flight introduces a funny race that are subtle rivals to the dwarves for these beard folks will tell you to keep your feet on the ground, but the Dragyrs will tell you to keep your feet off the ground. I have to ask, could it be possible the white dragon flight was gonna be light or holy possibly?

I always hypothesized that the white dragons were experiments by the titans; They wanted to see if ordering proto-drakes were even safe lest they risk killing the future aspects.

When Vanilla Mists of Pandaria was in full swing, I remember reading up on the Albino ('white') Dragonflight and the Ivory Sanctum. It was a fully established Wowwiki page complete with a few notable NPCs that had somehow been revealed either in the game or in book-form. You go back to look for the Ivory Sanctum page and it no longer exists. The description for the Albino Drake mount was also changed to a quote from Breanni from a 'forgotten' flight: "Even the Draconic Native Association tests proved inconclusive in determining if the albino drake is related to a known dragonflight." Basically the changes that came were roughly between late-BfA and all throughout SL, and can only be summarized and assumed as 'The team didn't know what to do with it, so they've left it unresolved and/or ignored'. It'll likely never be touched on again, but there was definitely an Ivory Sanctum. The premise of it was, according to what I recall about the page at that time, that they resented the other Major dragonflights because they had color and purpose associated with those colors: blue for arcane, red for purifying and nourishing flame, green for the realm of dreaming, bronze for time management, and black for protection of the earth. Meanwhile the white dragons, who didn't have a purpose, went and made a sanctum of their own. There was no official designated task for them, even though they were of Titan design. Unfortunately this is all going off memory, so do take what I say with a heap of salt.

For Horde players, they have access to The Rake. 1.2 aspd cat. You can get this as soon as you can tame a pet. Level 10 rare spawn, Mulgore. For Alliance, any cat in Darkshore. 1.3 aspd.

Grat video, I love it. A couple of clarifications, tho: - In the Dragon Isles from Dragonflight, white dragons do exist, can be seen around and can also be obtained as a customization for players' mounts. - Proto Whelps from Dragonflight can certainly be white and are multiple instances of them. - As @LordProteus also pointed out, a white dragonspawn (with the classic model) can be sometimes seen in the 20th anniversary grounds in Tanaris. I think they are considered just albinos and not a separate Flight. My personal opinion is that this skin was reserved for notable individuals to stand out (a reskin is cheaper than a new model, specially in vanilla times) or simply as a way to reflect that they were old.

Well, if I would design such a game/world I would make these white dragons ice dragons with a mix of light blue and white.

I really much prefer the unfinished Dragon Isles and Emerald Dream over what we got. The prototype look gives it that eerie and mysterious feeling that suits magical places that were never meant to be visited by most people. Instead, Dragon Isles was a rehash of old zones, albeit a good rehash, but nothing stood out like that giant octopus temple in the early prototype. Same with Emerald Dream, it was basically Val'Shara 2.0 instead of a weird, uncanny dream realm.

we also have the albino dragon mount - it always made me think that there was a silver dragonflight that was out there somewhere - the fact that there's a dragonspawn out there with no other flight.. hmm. "white" dragonflight doesnt sound as fantastical to me, so ive always called it "silver" lol. perhaps they were originally going to be the arcane dragons but that got moved to blue with their cut?

man this video makes me so nostalgic... Back before BC launched I managed to get a private server running for wow and my friend, girlfriend and I would wander around all the various map instances not normally accessible, and I remember stumbling across the old caverns of time map. We were in freaking awe at that map.
