I also rematch/reunite pairs in the thrift store to make it potentially easier for someone else. My daughter used to tell me to “stop rearranging the shop, you don’t work here” but she’s used to it now and I have occasionally spied her doing it, if it was an easy match 😊

Good morning my friend! Great tips & tricks! I just picked up a framed piece yesterday that I'll be changing the print & adding rub & buff, and probably a little antiquing wax to!😊 The candle warmer is so pretty! Its not really my style & i don't rest use candles, i use the wax melts. But its still A beautiful piece &I can Dec appreciate that!😊 The ornaments are really pretty too. They will be very pretty as a bowl filler! I do like the brass art piece, such a cool piece! Love the water color of the house, very pretty! I agree, i think i would do a different frame also, and a darker mat might make the actual picture pop! Black or A really dark green, depending on the color palette in your home. Back would go anywhere of course!😉 I got a basket over Christmas holidays, very similar to the one you have. Is A bit smaller & was used as a sewing basket. It belonged to my husband's aunt that passed several weeks before Christmas. I love the wood salt & pepper shakers made like this one! I've collected several sets in all different sizes and use them for decor around my kitchen. I love the Sherpa! Beautiful color! A&F is still a popular brand, mostly the younger generation, but i still like it!😁 I have jeans from A&F that i really like. When I lived in TN i had quite a few Sherpas. But when we moved to Florida I donated most of them to a women's recovery home. I kept several of my fav ones to have when we go visit anywhere in winter that's colder temps.. like we stayed 10 days up in NC, our hometown, with family for Christmas & new years and it was very cold several of those days! Of course I took heavier clothing like the Sherpa. I love to thrift clothing too, a good bit of what i have is thrifted. You can def find great deals.. especially on jeans & jackets, pieces that are really pricey! Again great tips & tricks, they'll def come in handy for newer thrifters! Love where you placed the copper picture! The frames are so cute used as magnets. Enjoyed spending the morning with you & shopping! Very nice haul! I pray you have a blessed rest of your week!🙏🏻😊

It is so true about going back and checking again in case we missed something. I do find that when I arrive at the thrift store I find my eyes wondering everywhere and sometimes not really keying in to all the items on the shelves. I think I get excited and I want to run everywhere just in case there is something good and I don't want someone else to grab it. The I think it was an ice bucket and the glasses OmG I would have had to have that for my home lol. I rarely okay I have never sold anything I have found. lol The prices in Washington State Goodwills would make someone faint! I remember seeing all of these antiques between my mother and grandmas house. Ha ha As an ex apartment manager that dealt with bed bugs in an apartment one time in my career. I can’t buy used blankets or pillows or any of it. Worst experience EVER. Only then we had to call them pantry pests or we would have had everyone moving out. 😂

Hi Liz! I would love to see a thrift dupe for 2025 design trends. I feel like what is "in" has really shifted this year to more saturated tones vs. neutrals that have dominated and I'm feeling a bit behind the curve. Bringing in thrifted pieces seems like an easier way to respond to trends vs. spending a ton of money of things you see in regular stores.
