I've had a crazy couple weeks so I'm catching up!😊 Hilton Head is a beautiful island! My husband has A cousin the we've gone & visited with. They have gorgeous private beaches there! My MIL & husbands younger brother live in SC. We are originally from NC, born & raised there. Where we lived was only 3mi from the SC line, ash just a mile across that line is where my MIL lives. That's where we lived in the country on 40+acres, where my son was raised. Then we moved to Tennessee 5yrs ago, now we've recently moved to Florida, just several months ago. When you came to Orlando you we only an hour from me milage wise.. traffic wise maybe 2hrs Lol. I stay in Orlando with my son for 11mths a couple years ago when he first moved down to FL. We live in a Tampa suburb now, his wife is from Tampa. I'm going to be honest..i really don't like living in Orlando! Way to busy, way too many people! Nice to visit or vacation buy not to live! My son still works there tho, at the prison🥴 We live about an hour from where Debbie hit & flooded totally flooded the area. There's a channel i watch & she lives there, her home was Ok but he parents home, vehicles, campers.. ask gone! Breaks my heart💔 Thankfully her mom was in Ohio & her dad stayed with her they night! The videos she showed was just devastating😢 Here was just lots if strong wind & rain & we lost power for about 3hrs. I thank the Lord it was no worse! I went hurricane Ian when i stayed in Orlando, that was pretty scary! If you ever get the chance to come near the Tampa area be prepared to thrift! I'm 30min outside Tampa.. there's 10 trust did in this little town, 11 just 6mi up the road. All the town around Tampa are packed with thrift stores! There lots more in Tampa, an antique mall & tons of antique stores everywhere! Its really overwhelming!😬 You could make a thrifting day trip next time you're in Orlando! I love wall sconces! I have quite a few sets & single ones. I love having them a around my home.. and love different materials, wood, brass, metals, etc. Eucalyptus is always a good floral to have! Love the little berry pieces in those! Awesome price! The hobnail milk glass is really pretty! I have several lamps & a small collection of hobnail milk glass. Oh the thrill of the hunt is the best part if thrifting! When we owned out thrift store back in TN, we got tons of donations, estate & yard sale left overs..we never shopped for it. We had an abundance if the small appliances! So I have one of pretty much everything for the kitchen😀 My instapot was a great score! I love copper pieces.. Same here, love the patina, the older looking the better! Very sweet piece! The painted brass candle holder is beautiful! Great score on the converses..i use to wear them alot.. at one time i had 6 colors, including the pink & white!😁 If love to have to have a pair of the thick bottom ones! Thrift stores are the best place to find kids name brand or just nice clothes at great prices.. adults too! Great haul! It was nice thrifting along with you g catching up😉 Now I've gotta go watch your most recent video😊

Great finds! I’m glad you had a good time on vacation. We should take more vacations! Loving dishes is in my family’s DNA. My grandmother collected turquoise Fenton glass and hand painted an entire set of dishes (8 place settings and 5 pieces each place setting). Each place setting was a different wild flower. I have one place setting. My mom had several sets of dishes and both my sisters and I have several too. We all have some of grandma’s glass. And we all use tablecloths all the time. Don’t know who has the most, lol. Fun to watch your channel. Take care, Jan

Hi Liz. I have noy commented for a while, but hope you know I am here when I can be. Loved these finds, especially the faux eucalyptus! Those converse were a great buy. Just wondering if you have tried washing them with old towels in the washing machine at the same time. Of course, you have to be color conscious (most old towels have been washed so often they are unlikely to bleed color), but the terry will do a really great job with both the canvas and soles. My girls' cheer shoes needed washing quite often and this worked well. Hope you are well and prepared for back to school.

Heyyy Elizabeth, It is so nice to see you!! I hope you had a wonderful vacation. Disney is so fun and it brings the child out in all of us no matter our age. I am also relieved that you and your family are safe and were not hindered by the storm. I actually vacationed in your neck of the woods in Georgian Bay and then Stratford and St Jacob's area. It was so lovely. I had a chance to go thrifting in a Value Village there and it was a blast. The shelves were just packed with lots of goodies, so much more than mine here. I love what you picked up and so happy that you found the wreath. What a cute story. The mug is so adorable!! The converse runners were a great steal. Your daughter must be over the moon thrilled!! ​@@elizabethdipetta6872 Hmmmmmm, I am not sure if the building I went into was the antique market actually. One of the main buildings was where they sell the food on the lower main floor and upstairs people sell some craft items. In another building they had more food and some more items that people made. I went into a small strip mall but there was nothing much there. You know, maybe I missed the antique market and didn't realize it. Oh dear...that is too bad!! I would have loved that!! Not done with your video yet , but noticed a sconce on the bottom shelf, right side. I have 2 that I found at the thrift store by party light . It has clean lines , is black metal and holds 5 candles. I have mine on each side of a piece of art! I love them!
