Facts the decks that don’t care about their extra deck like LAB will abuse this shit lol

Except your deck does not run many ED, this card is actually too costly to run, better DRNM/Droplet even for board breaking

spell speed 4 means it can't be responded to. this card just cant be negated

It isn't spell speed 4 it is just non negateable They can do things else such as S:P tagging

This is good against a bunch of different things (floodgate continuous traps or spells, monsters that are problems when trying to break a board) and it is pretty solid. I'd say it's a better going second or a sideboard card. I can see otk decks like ancient gear or decks that don't use their extra deck much or at all using this card very effectively. Those zombie cards are definitely going to be added into my zombie support collection

If you durendal and droll for the handloop, both players would lose their hand, so it be good to play more spell or traps that you can set right?

I am super guilty of being like this in the past, hell I'm guilty of this now to an extent still. I'd cry about meta decks while my ass is playing with shit like Six Sams and SPYRAL, making a massive hypocrite of myself by whining about meta decks when I'm using old ass meta decks myself. Even now I'll look at a deck and get really salty about it, even though I know that's just how YuGiOh is at times. I feel pretty confident in saying that most, if not aeveryone who's played YuGiOh has done this at some point, even if you're really good at being a good sport you've had a moment in like, Master Duel or another auto sim where you can't talk to your opponent where you get salty and rant at how unfair their play was or at how they just 'drew all the handtraps', even though that's just how the game works. I think the main thing is to understand that the salt is not on the opponent, it's on you, if you don't like fighting an uphill battle with rouge or gimmicky anti meta strategies, play the meta, or if you don't want to play meta, accept that you will have an uphill struggle and may have to adapt or just work harder to win and still have to accept that you may just be outgunned by newer, more powerful archetypes. What not to do is to start raving about it on dueling book or other forums and shit or worse, in real life because you're not willing to accept and adapt, hell half the reason why I stay away from Dueling Book is aside from the fact that I'm sure my dumbass would fuck up and make so many illegal plays using it that I'd get frustrated too easily and start doing exactly that, I'd rather stay on MD until I'm 100% good with it before risking DB. I do think I'm a lot better, I don't get nowhere near as frustrated with the meta anymore and even decks that annoy the hell out of me (floodgate strategies, heavy backrow strategies like labrynth and whatnot), I'll at least try and play even if they have the distinct advantage. Even if I do get mad though, I'm just gonna stop playing for a bit to try and cool down rather than let myself get too wound up and spout dumb shit on the internet (which I guess I'm doing right now, shit D:), point stands though.

I actually love that top players spend thousands of hours and dollars building decks I cant even dream of to evolve the game into a high art of "heads or tails?". If your deck can't consistently OTK you aren't ready to play cards against an opponent.
@daimooc2169Күн бұрын
I realize at my best I have a 1:5 chance if I win the coin toss. I also realize I play enough to know I win 1 in 5 if I win the toss on average. I can't fault better players for taking the game where it leads at the pinnacle. But I can appreciate the irony for what it is.

I think a lot of the frustration people feel about “meta” decks is not point in the right areas. Don’t hate the people playing meta decks (for the most part) hate Konami for making those decks. I play rogue (earthbound servants) and I don’t hate that people play snake-eyes or tenpai, I hate that konami printed these outright busted cards because they don’t know how to deal with the pervious meta in a way that is healthy for the game. That being said fuck tear, fuck kash and fuck floodgate decks (none of these decks are fun to play against imo). I also think a lot of the animosity would be alleviated if we got common printings of every card In a set, you can still print the ultra high rarity versions for the people who want them but you’re not pricing part of your community out of the format.

And this is why I quit playing this trash game. It has warped into something nearly unrecognizable from when I played during the prime of the game.(Master rule 2) Now it's just a garbled meta-locked cash grab scam that is hilariously boring and one-sided. I'm attempting to move into magic because they still actually have something remotely resembling a casual scene with many different styles/formats of play to choose from.

I also can't search talents or any hand traps but that doesn't mean you shouldn't play them. The way i see it, you either open engine or ypu open gap fillers. And thats a pretty damn good gap filler. Maybe not main worthy but fs side deck worthy.

@vestaviri2 күн бұрын
I mean, it's as you said in the video on Friday. If you like a deck, then play it. You're playing Ryzeal cuz you like Ryzeal. You played Heroes cuz you like Heroes. I'm playing Maliss cuz I like Maliss. I get there are meta sheeps, but nothing wrong with taking an interest in a deck and picking it up meta or not

I just built Suship Primite with a compact Ryzeal engine as a slightly budget deck option that feels like it MIGHT be able to keep up with full power meta stuff and I FULLY EXPECT TO LOSE EVERY GAME at locals. A lot of people are just obsessed with winning versus actually playing the game and interacting with their opponent and getting better at the game and their egos are just fragile. A lot of people also act like game 1 is the end-all be-all of the duel which is so annoying lmao

His messages read more like he's annoyed you weren't responding, or checking for actions in dp/sp. He's still shouldn't have rage quit but communication needs to be clear on DB so both players actually know what's happening.

U got a lot of disgruntled yugioh players in these comments g, but I think your point was pretty easy to understand for people who are at least willing to understand it. Nobody will improve by avoiding matchups against meta decks. Nobody will improve by acting like their deck exists in a vacuum and refusing to adapt to the other decks around them. This is just standard competitive knowledge, even outside of Yugioh or card games in general. And if people don't want to improve, and they're just playing casually, sure that's fine. But don't turn around and go to places where people play meta and then complain that you're facing meta decks lmao. Find like-minded people who will play their fun decks against your fun deck. And don't switch up on people when your fun deck is better than theirs and they complain about it lmao, because the reality in this game is: decks come in many different power levels. Your rogue deck may not be as strong as the top meta decks, but in the same fashion, someone else's casual deck may not even compare to your rogue deck. The lesson to take away from this is just show some sportsmanship, that's all there is to it.
@ChazBlanks3 күн бұрын
Congrats on winning locals. Now go win regionals lol. I'm glad you are playing Ryzeal. It shows depth and growth as a player, You recognized a deck was bad and pivoted to a new deck but still acknowledged the rogue decks. You can't please everyone and of course you know this.

like for me looking back to YCS Anaheim mistakes were made if i was trying to win but since then i have been having a blast playing Edison but i am slowly planning a return in the future when my health gets better and i am in a better poss. cash wise as i have been toying with a new brew that plays Rhyzel (sorry if its spelled wrong i am not home so i don't have access to my auto-correct tool) but its that core mixed with Evilswarm as oh look you want to play big dumb idiots good luck with that it has been showing promise in the few random matches on dueling book when i play it as i lock up one EMZ and use Iron dragon to lock up the other and end the game on the spot as i play like forbidden lance to protect my key tools
