I love clowns. I used to collect clown figurines. I think they are cute, but I have a sister, and she has always found them scary. I thought it would be fun to include a clown in the story.

I like that you draw inspiration from real events, I think that is a really cool and interesting dynamic to a fictional story. It is relatable, like I was listening to you tell the story and my brain went to Russian and Princess Anastasia

Thanks. When I saw that story, I was convinced the woman was lying and wasn't the long lost sister, but the DNA said she was. Her own sister didn't recognize her, and she didn't remember things from her childhood that she should have. It got me thinking, and the story was born!

I really like the ending. The idea of real leadership leaving a void is extremely interesting to me. The people actually mourning real leadership is a very real thing. I wasn't expecting the cave thing, without spoilers, it was good.

People are having issues with youtube not showing the updates? Odd as I have gotten the notifications with no issues. But I live in Sweden. USA youtube might be having a problem with "murder" but in the EU it is not a problem. Love this!

I wouldn't say I am sad, but I have had moments in my life where I was pretty down. I struggled with depression after my cancer diagnosis, and therapy has helped me so much. Family can hurt you pretty badly, especially if they don't love you. Thank you for the comment.

I really like the idea of death as a tangible creature. There was a really old twilight zone episode where a salesman was given the chance to save his life by making a sales pitch to death. Very cool story, very cool idea.

I try to be aware of that and include characters of all races. I have people of multiple races in Sorrow of the Beast and Secret Guardians, which are two of my newer ones. If there is less diversity, it's not intentional. I'll keep it in mind going forward, though.

There was a time when a clockmaker was the gold standard in engineering. Think rocket scientist. I think people that intelligent have trouble processing difficult emotions, so in a world of real magic, a brilliant engineer would probably do just what he did.
