Is the battery rattling also. That seems to be common with this front mount. Is there a way to reduce the rattle noise?

After I had a T Line , a 12 speed P line I bought a G Line. I put on my G Line smaller tubeless (20x1,75) tires and Shimano Alfine 11 speed. Now it is perfect

Best is c line 6 gear for city use, P and T is too expensive, the G is a weird neither here not there unless you want a foldable outdoor bike, the electric ones are old tech and too expensive and GoCycle is much better at 500 more… tried them all, C 6 gears all the way for the city

in motorcycle school.. they teach you that a red helmet is the least visible at dawn and dusk.. Red is the first color to disappear from a distance.. You will never see Red looking at a mountain.. you See Greens from over a thousand miles away.. The most visible Helmet or cycling kits are White.. You can see that day or night... Lime green with reflective piping is very visible in all light conditions and at night..

That looks massive for a 300. Are you sure it's not a 500?
@tredz20 күн бұрын
Hi! That's a good eye, the bike's spec features a Kiox 300 display, however we took a random bike from stock and it had the Kiox 500 display out of the box. Functionality is the same though!

Would you rather have wireless shifting on a hard tail or cable shifting on a full suspension

Impressed that the battery pack stayed in place and that the electrics didn't disengage over the rougher terrain. It seems that the G-Line Electric would have few problems traversing the pot-holed streets of London.

G line is not a Brompton. Its only a very expensive Tern
@ute361Ай бұрын
Wow
@joules531Ай бұрын
I love the concept of a 20 inch wheeled Brompton but, frankly, the absolute pounding it took as you rode what was a fairly tame off road route, confirmed to me that there are just too many compromises. And the sheer weight of the thing makes it wholly unsuitable for carrying, in my opinion. Sorry, but it's a no from me.

The G line tyres are like Marathons? (Puncture resistant). Title suggests winter trees say spring.

For £2500 it needs the titanium fork and rear triangle, if not it's 700-900 overpriced

Thanks for this review. Was the electric assist in use on the cobble and other rough trail sections? If so what settings and gears were used and were any electrical faults encountered during the ride?
@tredzАй бұрын
Hi! Yes the assist was being used, it was mostly in mode 2. For the entire time the bike was with us, we had no issues with the electrics cutting out, whether on rough sections or tarmac. Safe riding!

Fair play Bils, that’s the best test I’ve seen of the G line.

Indeed. 250w about the motor doesn’t mean much. What’s the torque it puts out?

@KavanOBrienАй бұрын
Surprised they didn’t think about some sort of suspension system especially with the G line trying to break into the off road scenario, even the original moulton had a spring system on their shopping bikes , you could even have that type of system on a normal Brompton, it would cycling over pot holes an enjoyable experience, so come on Brompton less talking around the coffee machine and spring into action.
@TheLittleRedCaliАй бұрын
Im struggling to view the G line as a Brompton. If you want something that big and heavy just but a normal bike. C line six speed is probably the sweet spot of the range.
