I like the same one her hubby did too. When I saw it on her on another video, I loved the color and style of it. The blonde just makes your eyes pop so much more. I think the shorter wavy one that was blonde, kind of looks like a wig and too much hair or thickness maybe?

The idea of putting someone else's hair on my head is kind of gross to me. That's my reason for choosing synthetic. It brings me back to those days of playing with Barbie and her hair was always so plastic-y smooth and nice. Where real hair is belonging to someone else and frizzy.

@WigsWithSteph , hello from a fellow Canadian wig sister!! I am just getting into human hair wigs and in fact, just received my first 2 wigs from Jadora Secret Luxury Wigs in the states. I bought one from their May sale and another I had custom made. The sale wig I bought had to be sent away to be custom colored and cut because it looked nothing like the pictures in person. I actually cried when i opened the bag it was in, inside the box it came in. It has just been completed and i will have it next week if shipping is on time. The one request I had for Jadora Secret is that if they took pictures of their wigs in natural outdoor lighting, it would go a long way to showing customers the actual color their wigs are. I find ANY wig color does not look the same in person as it does under artificial lighting. I really thought I has wasted almost $2,000 on a wig that was unwearable for me. After the custom coloring and cut, it looks amazing and I cannot believe it is the same piece. I have only seen pictures, so i can't wait to get it next week. But I have a request for you Steff. I am at a loss as how to really take the best care of my human hair pieces. Would you consider doing an in-depth video showing how to care for them. I mean from cutting the lace, to washing, conditioning and using other products like hair oils to leave in conditioners, a weekly or monthly hair mask and heat protectants. How often should I be using things like these and in what quantities. What is the best way OR basically how to wash and dry my human hair wigs, how should they be stored for daily use as well as the long term? By that I mean a wig I would wear more on special occasions, so it did not need to be out daily. How do I curl or straighten or add waves to them and what products should be used in the process? I have SO many questions and I have only found a few videos here and there on KZbin, but not a comprehensive, in depth series of videos that would address all of the above. I know you have a lot of experience with human hair wigs and you would absolutely do an amazing job putting a series like this together. I know it is a lot to ask of you, with your baby and how much time she takes out of your day, as it should be, but you would be doing me and I am sure many, many other wig sisters and the community as a whole huge service!! Pretty please with sugar and the endless appreciation of wig sisters everywhere, will you consider doing this?

Thank you! I'm glad you like the brown-red one; it really does make the eyes pop, doesn't it? 🩷 I think you're right about the curly options. Since Raregen uses 100% Chinese human hair, which is naturally sleek and straight, they might not showcase curly wigs. It's a bit of a bummer if you're looking for curls, but the quality and texture of their straight hair is definitely impressive. Thanks for checking out the site and for your lovely comment! 😊

Thank you for your feedback! I totally agree-the root color on the blonde is a bit warm. I think darkening the roots slightly to match my bio hair will make it look even more natural. I'm glad you like the dark one too! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! 😊

I think you can wear any color and look good. The darker one seems like a reddish brown (like an auburn maybe?) and is really pretty. I think you look more natural in the blonde because you have the lighter eyes and skin and it seems to make your eyes pop with the blonde. :) My hair is normally a dark blonde, but thinking of trying a reddish blonde to see. I have lighter eyes too.

Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 I really appreciate your feedback. I love experimenting with different colors, and it's always fun to see how each one changes my look. The darker one does have a bit of an auburn hue, and I agree, it's such a beautiful shade. I'm so glad you think the blonde looks natural on me! It's amazing how different colors can make certain features pop. I think a reddish blonde would look stunning on you, especially with lighter eyes. It sounds like a perfect way to switch things up while still complementing your natural look. Let me know how it goes if you decide to try it! ❤

Thank you for sharing! It sounds like you've had a fun journey with different hair colors. Blondes are such a great choice, and I'm glad the blonde one caught your eye. The Raregen wigs do have some beautiful products, though I understand about the lengths-sometimes a shorter style is just what you need. I appreciate you checking out the link and watching the review. If you ever decide to explore longer lengths again or find a brand that offers shorter options you love, I’d love to hear about it. Thanks again for your lovely comment! ❤

So. For the segment about the shadow root at the end of the video. What if I technically HAD hair, but I kept it buzz cut all the time? Would I still need to worry about that, or as long as the wig is close to my hair color will it look ok? I'm dealing with male pattern baldness and so I'll eventually be bald on top and in the back, but until then I'm gonna go with a buzz cut and just wear wigs outside.

This resonated with me so much and our story is extremely similar. I think I am just a few years behind you 😊 I am in my second time of my Graves’ disease and hyperthyroidism flaring up after just over a year of remission and I would put all of the money I have in the reason of stress and anxiety. Just like you I am a KZbinr but I also have another full time business and I have two little ones. They want to cut my thyroid out and I am refusing. I want to stay on medication again for a bit and see if I can do it again. I have never experienced losing my hair though. Everything else you explained I have at the moment. The shakes being the worst as I am an esthetician and it’s embarrassing. I am going to go and watch a few more of your videos on this subject as I get a really lovely energy from you. I hope you are well 😊

Does your hyperthyroidism feel like an (over inflated balloon in your throat kinda like someone is putting a ball pump needle in the balloon and over inflating it?) that's what I have been suffering with for almost 10 years. It's usually the worst after I eat, and about 9 years ago the doctors said it was acid reflux (GERD) and immediately prescribed nexium and zantac (which made me much worse) but I had an endoscopy and biopsy of my stomach and esophagus as well as ultrasound of my throat and my gallbladder, tested my blood for thyroid hormones and ex Rays of my throat and chest and all of the tests came back "normal" so they say, I really don't trust doctors because there is money to be made in pushing as many tests as possible. I'm wondering if I have Celiac disease and a liver problem which regulates thyroid hormones, it seems like my feeling in my throat is right on my thyroid gland and it feels tender if I press on it and it also feels triggered if I press on my upper right side of my abdomen right where the right lobe of my liver is and the gallbladder is right behind that. I've watched Dr Eric Berg on KZbin talking about the keto diet and he said that eating grains seed oils and ultra processed foods and high carbs and sugar damage the liver and the gallbladder and gut, and Dr Eric Berg said that the liver and gallbladder and small intestine are like a factory to convert T4 hormones into T3 hormones so the thyroid can function so if the liver and gallbladder and gut is bad then the thyroid can't function properly, I found that cutting out grains and keto or just low carb and intermittent fasting ( especially one meal a day "OMAD") Puts whatever this problem I have into remission. So does your overactive thyroid feel like an over inflated balloon in your throat? It has made me develop a panic disorder and I have become agoraphobic (a fear of leaving the house) which is because the pain effects sensory processing disorder, I happen to also be on the autism spectrum and ADHD.
