I like these lace front wigs very much. Still the human hair does not grow out in a roundish way on the forehead but sometimes in a triangle way... the producers should consider that. 😊

My misdiagnosed Graves Disease was, in fact aspartame poisoning. It was as simple as removing aspartame from my diet and my thyroid function is normal. Aspartame is in almost EVRERYTHING labeled "sugar free" or "diet."

Does your hyperthyroidism feel like an (over inflated balloon in your throat kinda like someone is putting a ball pump needle in the balloon and over inflating it?) that's what I have been suffering with for almost 10 years. It's usually the worst after I eat, and about 9 years ago the doctors said it was acid reflux (GERD) and immediately prescribed nexium and zantac (which made me much worse) but I had an endoscopy and biopsy of my stomach and esophagus as well as ultrasound of my throat and my gallbladder, tested my blood for thyroid hormones and ex Rays of my throat and chest and all of the tests came back "normal" so they say, I really don't trust doctors because there is money to be made in pushing as many tests as possible. I'm wondering if I have Celiac disease and a liver problem which regulates thyroid hormones, it seems like my feeling in my throat is right on my thyroid gland and it feels tender if I press on it and it also feels triggered if I press on my upper right side of my abdomen right where the right lobe of my liver is and the gallbladder is right behind that. I've watched Dr Eric Berg on KZbin talking about the keto diet and he said that eating grains seed oils and ultra processed foods and high carbs and sugar damage the liver and the gallbladder and gut, and Dr Eric Berg said that the liver and gallbladder and small intestine are like a factory to convert T4 hormones into T3 hormones so the thyroid can function so if the liver and gallbladder and gut is bad then the thyroid can't function properly, I found that cutting out grains and keto or just low carb and intermittent fasting ( especially one meal a day "OMAD") Puts whatever this problem I have into remission. So does your overactive thyroid feel like an over inflated balloon in your throat? It has made me develop a panic disorder and I have become agoraphobic (a fear of leaving the house) which is because the pain effects sensory processing disorder, I happen to also be on the autism spectrum and ADHD.

Alopecia areata, inherited from my father (thanks dad) I am currently in my fifth shed with the first having happened in my mid thirties. I do think I shed before that but not as bad as all times since. I go about two years with hair loss from my top crown back, then three to four years with complete hair growth before the next cycle. The first time I shed my hair growth was center of my back, always thick and wavy/curly like my fathers. I did struggle emotionally/mentally. Second shed, I cut it short 4-5 inches with my husband's help, and lost him to cancer a few months after. He always supported me and insisted he cut my longest length off that first time. That first cut is tucked in a draw with his first chemo shave. I wish I had shaved it off then but c'est la vie. Last shed I buzzed it off for the first time and kept it that way till regrowth occurred. Freaked my cousin and best friend out.. both hated it and asked me not to do it again. I live 3000 miles away from them with this latest shed 8 months in, and yes it is all coming off tonight. I am aggravated but I will be fine when I finally shave it off, do not ask me why I feel that way.. it is, what it is.

What would you recommend for a first timer. A wig that will stay very secure? And has a hairline like that one? Not overfilled w hair (packed)?

I like your wig comb, it seems easier to comb the wig as compared to the one recommended by the wig shop when I bought the wig. is your comb specially meant for wigs? currently my wig is ratty, tangly and clumping together and haven't been using it for close to 2 years. have the wig shampoo and conditioner and haven't use them yet I bought from Girl Hairdo for around 150 USD

I had to start wearing BISCUIT RL19/23 during the pandemic's early days. The roots were not only TRULY DARKER, but, more often, it had a purple cast. I discovered that cool blonde shades often have violet mixed in as toner. However, on biohair, NOT AT THE ROOT!😢 It looked worse in pictures. I am a filmmaker who often gets interviewed on camera for industry publications or project launches. It is all about the hype! Lol. Anyway, it made me realize that when I have a highly DIMENSIONAL UNROOTED BLONDE, it seems like I just stepped out of the salon!🎉 In fact, when I had biohair, I would NEVER let my own darker roots come in! Every 4 weeks, I had to do the base color, EACH AND EVERY TIME, I had them touch-up my money pieces. Funny, my hair loss journey had nothing to do with coloring my hair! Not the highlighting every three months, (five to six months from January to May) not extra foils in the spring, or even the lowlights to darken the rooted area in Autumn. How about the bleach and toners for the brief but busy holiday season from Halloween to New Years Day? It was only due to chemotherapy, radiation, & the auto-immune issues that were secondary to my breast cancer treatments! I was amazed to find out all this, after it appeared that though my biohair SLOWLY grew back, I had both ALOEPECIA as well as the rest, and so,I stopped coloring the small amount of hair I have left, as it never really improved further. I wanted to look decent at least, even WITHOUT MY WIGS when I am home with my husband! Being I am so fair, Biscuit does look great with makeup & the whole nine yards... sometimes without my painting my whole face, Ifind I need a little depth maybe by the roots, even though I don't necessarily want darkroots anymore. I wouldn't rule the following colors out, which would you prefer??? For Mesmerized: ***Shaded Sand [BTW, does this color come without roots like 16/21?] ***16/88 Pale Golden Honey I wish they would create the old colors like Shaded Cream with a lighter root! Gorgeous! Maybe like Shaded Iced Sweet Cream RL 16/22SS. They only have the unrooted one which is very monotoned for some reason, at least on theshortie wig I got that coloring. Sorry for this long post! But this color thing is really challenging. I appreciate your feedback.😊

Because of Steph, I have confidence again!🌷she was the first i ever watched going through my chemo journey. I officially lost all my hair within the last 6 days. But because of Steph's reviews, I purchased the Raquel Welch Memorized in shaded sand, and I feel like my old self! I actually feel like Rachel from friends, bc thats what it reminds me of lol I actually have went into 5 stores wearing the wig! And I'm wearing my old clothes again (chemo can make you feel "ugly" and not like dressing up). All the credit is to her❤ because of her again, I just ordered the simmer elite in shaded biscuit (her and I are fairly the same skin tone and age). And i know ill love it just the same 🥰 thank you Steph for making me feel pretty again, steering me towards a great quality brand, and posting honest reviews. I didn't think id ever feel beautiful again until after chemo, and bc of you, I can look in the mirror and say I still am❤❤❤
