I Made My Sister Wear Wigs For The First Time! [Synthetic Wig Haul]

This is my sister, Nicole. And I am super excited to share our little get together with you, and especially to share the VERY first time she tries on wigs with me. Let's all welcome her, as we know getting on camera for the first time isn't easy! (By the way, incase anybody asks, we didn't braid down her hair underneath the caps because she requested not to. If you are someone with a TON of hair or extensions like her, make sure to either braid down to get the flattest appearance, and/or size up in caps.) As you'll notice in the video, when she tried on the petite caps first, the bump of her hair underneath was noticeable, but as we went up in cap size (example, Alessandra by Jon Renau), you could no longer see her hair bump. So, braiding down your own hair underneath isn't absolutely necessary if you don't want to do it, you can't do it, or you don't have the time. But taking into account how much hair you have should play a part in the cap size you choose, and then you'll get a much better fit. 💕

You guys are adorable! Amazing how the same styles can look great on young girls. The short blonde pixie and the long brunette looked best on Nicole. And Mom's absolutely. Something you could wear every day, Out for lunch, shopping etc.

There is a way that your sister can wrap her hair so that there would not be a bun and with that bump it really made the wig not fit or look it's best. Just you tube how to wrap super long hair for wearing a wig and it will show her how to do it. She definitely looks better in the blended dark with blonde or just the darker. You are both very beautiful and those wigs were really nice!!!! I enjoy watching you both together...so cute sister love!🥰🥰🥰

Thank you for your comment! =) I'm sure lots of people have a similar question as to why we didn't wrap her hair. As I said in the description, this is how she wanted to wear her hair underneath; she didn't want to wrap up her extensions. For those that want to go the distance, and totally hide a bump, there are tons of ways to do so. This was just a fun try-on and her long hair was still wearable after. We loved how we did it.

If you do two pigtail plaits and pin them across you’re head they will sit flat so you won’t have a bulky bump at the back ❤❤❤

Do you wear wigs for fun or because of hair loss? I have my own hair, change up the color and cut every now and again. But I see all the fun some of these brave ladies are having wearing wigs. And the thought of not having to fuss over my own hair is so appealing. For some reason I feel shy. However I have a real cute bob arriving in the mail soon ; )

Recent wig enthusiast here. I just bought a cheap one and it's fun to try on. But I'm self-conscious about them even though they look like so much fun! I knew ladies back in the late 70's who wore them out of convenience. I should go out somewhere wearing mine....

Hey Steph, I'm about to wear my first wig. Love your channel. I have a flat head. I didn't see anything addressing this unless I missed it. Have you heard any feedback from anyone with flat heads? The style I am wanting to order is Mesmerized by Raquel Welch but I'm worried this will slip off my head. I'm currently in a topper but experiencing more hair loss due to the pulling. Thoughts and/or other feedback?
