Low heat fiber wigs can be styled with hot tools at 270 degrees farenheight. If you get irons that show the temperature with a digital display then styling these wigs is achievable. You can also use steam or boiled water to change the shape and texture. I do it with low heat synthetic hairs all the time 🙂

Totally! This particular wig doesn’t take well to low temp hot tools where it’s put on direct heat. Steam is also what I use for these types of wigs. 😊❤️

Synthetics do best with fabric conditioner wash since it's a fabric

Great video, Steph! What do you think, I had always heard that the hot air brush had to have a plastic barrel and never metal? Yours appears to have a metal barrel and you did just fine?

I was going to say the same thing. I bought the ONLY plastic barrelled airbrush, the Hot Tools one which everyone recommended, and it's strictly only for people in the USA(very unfair!). I truly wish I would dare try a hot brush with a metal barrel.

Thank you Steph, this was very helpful. I have a Miranda and Miranda light I will be trying this technique on in the near future. How can I rejuvenate JR Rachel? Have you tried any Belle Tress wigs? I ordered my first Belle Tress wig, Mui about a month ago. I am so impressed with their HD fibers. I wore the wig every day for 3 weeks and barely had any tangles. I wish BT would have put velcro adjusters on the Lux collection wigs, that would make them perfect. Simmer Elite has been my go to wig for over a year now, but it tangles so easily in comparison to Mui that I don't know if I can go back. Thanks to you and your helpful videos I have been able to extend the life of all of my wigs.

I am new to wigs. How often with daily wear? Do you wash your wigs? I have heard you should wash them as least as possible. I have a heat friendly wig that is getting tangly at the bottom. I've had it for a week and 2 days of daily wear. I don't want to ruin it. Should I wait to wash it?.

Hello!!! I’m excited for you to try out your wig 😍 I got my wig stand/block head and table mount off of Amazon. Here’s a similar one here: amzn.to/3IaJCZ9 I really like to get the sets, because I often switch between a stand and a table mount so that I have options on where I want to style my wig. But I absolutely LOVE styling my wig off my head because I can always make a style look SO good!!! 😊 Oh, if I can give some advice though- try to get a block head as close to your actual head circumference (if you get one too big, you may stretch your wig). My block head is size 21 because I have a petite head, and the one I linked above, I believe is 22 inch (which is average)
