Do you think a phone can fit on one of these? Seems like the technology is mature enough to put something like a vivo x100 ultra into this and have a fully functional digital binoculars.

How did you paint the foil? what kind of paint did you use?

I airbrushed Tamiya clear yellow over the foil.

I Built the Guillotine model from polar Lights when I Put the blade Rollers in the housing blade I had too glue tham in and complete blade housing still works and I painted the inside of the posts the blade still dropped down too cut the head of the victim and I no the model Guillotine is a very gruesome model to Build But at the end of the day the Guillotine is a part of history but I enjoyed Building the Guillotine and I might give the victim a name

Fantastic! Bought this model in 1965 still have it displayed. You mentioned the eye it's the icing on the cake here, like you said the gloss gives a chilling, weeping affect, if you're considering that a mistake than you lucked out on that one!!

I recently purchased a Dr Jekyll as Mr Hyde model kit from moebius. I was looking for a video with detailed pictures of colors to use and I found your version absolutely awesome. I plan on modeling mine the same color as yours. on a scale of 1-10 i would put this as a 15, lol .excellient work.

I think the figure looks really great, but I have one question. I have looked at several other completed Hunchback kits and in every one, the Hunchback is clean shaven. Seems to me, based on how much body hair this poor creature has, that he would at least have a "5-o'clock shadow". I mean, did his tormentirs take him to a baeber before torturing him?

Yeah that's a good point. I guess if you wanted to you could give him a shadow or glue hair on. It's your kit. You do it how you see fit.

To be honest I don't even remember. It was a cheap no brand one that almost fit perfect and I had to modify a bit. I just checked my ebay purchases but they don't go back that far. Sorry couldn't be more helpful.

@@ethanhyder4044 awesome. Yeah they prob very similar. Just make sure you print the files mirrored. I didn't realise the design was flipped. Not sure if he has corrected the files now but they were a mirror image of what the prop is.

@@xrlent12 i saw that in your vid. I don’t know if you have revisited the project since then, but a new guy basically remixed jonatron’s files so they are more accurate and mirrored. Really it’s the modifications you made to the original stl’s but as new stl files

I use any I can find. Mainly Tamiya Vallejo and games workshop. I don't use expensive brushes. Just good quality ones.
