Sweet , I'm going to enjoy all these star wars builds for sure !! Best group build ever : ) Can't wait to see the basketball go together lol I've got that kit , might have to raid some 1/35 scale tank parts for surface detail , it's is a shocker

***** Yep cool for sure. A great year for star wars. I think more surface detail would be too much at that scale. I was actually planing on making the second death star with this kit, only half built. Then when I opened it, I quickly changed my mind....lol. Its enough work just to make it look decent.

I got mine as part of a six kit lot. It was buried in a bunch of Star Trek kits. I got a lighted Enterprise, a polar lights Enterprise, a Klingon Bird of Prey and Battle Cruiser, Star Trek Encounter, and the Death Star for $30. The Death Star a lone I have seen for $40 to $50 with some nuts asking $150 plus.

Good choices! They're something different from the speeders, x wings, and tie fighters. Some hot water should fix the vinyl warps.

Vincent Weston Thanks Vince. Yeah it's good to do different things...keeps it interesting. I like to use a hair dryer and cold water to fix the vinyl. I find I can control the areas easier.
